NH Republicans will give Obama a chance [RINO Party alert]
AP via The Boston Globe ^ | 2009-01-21

NASHUA, N.H.—New Hampshire Republicans would have rather seen John McCain take the oath of office on Tuesday, but that doesn't mean they won't give President Obama a chance.

Republican adviser Tom Rath said now is not the time for partisan fighting because people are hurting. He said leaders must find common ground and if Republicans disagree with Obama's policies, they can do so without getting nasty.

Former New Hampshire GOP Chairman Fergus Cullen said Obama is his president, too, and certainly doesn't want him to fail.

I didn’t know there were any Republicans in NH. RINOs yes. After all, they are big McCain supporters

I guess that means they won’t be calling the VP “Hitler” and the President a “moron,” both terms used by the Democrats when referring to Cheney and Bush.
It’s “bipartisanship” from these spineless weenies that the Democrats love.

OK. The GOP is dead to me. I am officially without a party.

We (Conservatives) were here before they (RINO’s) were. Then, the locusts came.

Well, they only wish to be bipartisan, just like Uncle Barack wants them to be.

Good Lord, the man runs a wildly partisan campaign, and now he wants everyone to come together.

I gotta give it to him - he is charming. But the bottom line is he’s a man without an idea of how to proceed.

He is going to do precisely the wrong thing at the right time.

Ugh.

Up to this point I have avoided even the thought of running for public office. I am really starting to consider it, or at least working to replace a certain weak-willed GOP party chief who thinks the way to win is making nice with the enemy.

I have never been this p.o.ed at my party before! These TURDS disgust me! No fight! No spirit! Give in, cower, or is it just a matter of them seeing how much millions are being thrown around and wanting to be a part of it?

Take a look at the Libertarian and Constitution party platforms. One of them may suit you better.

I prefer EITHER to the Republicrat party platform and to McCain, Guiliani, and Romney, psuedoconservatives all.

Not to worry, It is just important that we spend no more money on the Republican Party. RINO votes are meaningless. Lets just clear the decks entirely and start over. After all they vote Democrat no matter what label they claim.

P.S. During the “campaign” the Dems claimed that McCain was old and about to die. If he and Byrd and Kennedy can all go out, I hear at least they have a conservative governor in AZ.

I think they just get complacent and tired, and start to enjoy being part of a minority that is ignored more than hated. That’s why they lose. They don’t mind losing because it’s preferable to being disliked, and if you are a conservative and act and speak as one - you are going to be disliked by the Beautiful People. If GOP leaders cannot deal with that fact, they ought to resign.

What a bunch of spineless tools.

Do you ever think before you post?

No one said they're going to give into Obama's leftist agenda. No one said they are going to rethink fundamental conservative positions on issues. All they said is that they're going to be civil.

There's nothing spineless about being civil.

NH Republicans will give Obama a chance

Isn't this kind of like eating a pot of ham and beans and saying: "I think I will give flatulence a chance?"

There's nothing spineless about being civil.

Except when the Democrat definition of civility involves turning around, bending over, and dropping your pants.

Now we will see the weak-kneed, unprincipled suck ups demonstrate why Republicans lost in 06, why we lost the Republican primary, and why we lost the presidency. When it comes time to find conservative leaders who can win in 2010 and 2012, we can quickly eliminate Republicans who are kneeling at Mr. Obama’s feet.

Give him a chance to do what?
Nationalize our Industry’s?
Turn our Healthcare system into European Lite?
Demoralize and destroy our Military with Homosexuals and appeasement to our enemies?
If these people are REPUBLICANS and were voted into office BY REPUBLICAN citizens their sworn duty is to REPRESENT the citizens that elected them. That means they should have the stones to stand up for their citizens and not allow Obamas plans and policy to hurt those citizens.
I WON’T BE HOLDING MY BREATH.......

Calm down.

If these guys do what you describe, then go ahead and call them spineless. They haven't, so hold your tongue.

The kind of absurd overreaction you display to the NH pubbies' boilerplate comments on civility isn't doing anyone any good, least of all yourself.
