Excerpts from a letter to the editor of the Frontiersman, Sarah Palin's hometown newspaper:
On Jan 5, I was listening to the radio... the Dan Fagan minute came on. He said he had looked up Sarah Palin’s grandson’s name (Tripp) in an Urban Dictionary and that it meant "to have sex while on drugs or drunk..."To paraphrase Roger Waters:Now, even an innocent newborn isn’t spared from this guy’s venom. Not surprising, this is the same guy, along with his sidekick, Sanquanita, who made fun of a special-needs child at the state fair two summers ago. They laughed... The Anchorage Daily News and the radio stations in town should not be promoting hate-speech. Leave the innocent children alone. How would you like to have your children or grandchildren smeared by the likes of Dan Fagan...

Sarah Palin’s family’s treatment was a disgrace, and I can’t understand how there’s not more outrage outside of conservatives.
that said, i don’t think we should attack obama’s kids. they seem like nice children. i dislike obama and his policies but i’ll choose to leave the kids alone. i think theyre cute and thats the only positive in his coming administration for me.
There is nothing to low for the anti-conservatives to keep negative press about our best hope for the next election.
They work to keep the well poisoned constantly. SHAME!

Because the Palin family treatment evens out the MSM excesses over Al Gore's son when he was arrested for being stoned out of his mind and driving over 100mph. Don't you remember the non-stop coverage on TV? The screaming headlines in the newspapers and, lest we forget, the lurid covers of our favorite supermarket tabloids. (I don't need the sarc tag, do I?)

I agree. Sarah Palin and her family were treated horribly. I consider Obama’s children off-limits, they are children for God’s sake. Just because some on the left wallow in the gutter doesn’t mean I have to. We all will have to answer to God one day for our actions.
Frankly, I don't care ~ Obama tolerated it when they started it up this Fall, so he should expect to be "punished with it" until he's long out of office and faded into senility and drooling ~ just like the Rev Lowery he had up on the stage.
Edwards knew the weather report that day. Every MSM reporter should have been asking him how it felt to "kill your own son".

It is (actually with one “g”), and Sarah explained during the campaign the name has a Nordic meaning (don’t remember exactly what).
Libs making stuff up. Go figure.
