Helen Thomas has genetic illness

Helen Thomas, the angry old warhorse who has squatted in the front row at every presidential press conference since the Zachary Taylor administration, ‘fessed up to her liberal bias in a Canadian TV interview.

“I’m a liberal,” Thomas admitted, “I was born a liberal. I’ll be one ’til I die. What else should a reporter be when you see so much and when we have such great privilege and access to the truth?”

So Thomas was born that way. She can’t help it. Her blatant liberal bias is genetic. It’s in her DNA. It’s like being left-handed or blue-eyed.

I Hate the Media’s Scientific Advisory Board (a completely unaccredited group with no actual scientific experience) demands that geneticists now attempt to find the genetic link between liberal women and unattractiveness.

That was a cruel thing to say to Medusa. Even she is not as ugly as Helen Thomas.

I still don’t get why the mods start doing that crap if someone is dying. I know out of respect, but come on, we are supposed to lie about the person thereafter? Remember Teddy’s first hospitalization? You couldn’t say Mary Jo without getting banned, nevermind Chappaquidick...

“What else [but a liberal] should a reporter be when you see so much and when we have such great privilege and access to the truth?”

That's the part that stood out to me. She didn't have to admit it, it's obvious that liberals and the media (their liberalism is a given) think they alone have access to the truth, and that it must be explained to the unwashed masses, along with what to think.

What makes thing worse is this. In my hometown, her niece is one of the co-anchors of the 6 and 11pm news on the local NBC station. Her niece is just as liberal and looks just like Helen.

... unattractiveness.

In Thomas' case 'unattractiveness' is a euphemism for 'ugly as barn muck.'

“Winston Churchill: “Anyone who isn’t a liberal at 18 doesn’t have a heart, anyone who is a conservative after 30 doesn’t have a brain.”

I believe the correct quote is: “Anyone who isn’t a liberal at 18 doesn’t have a heart. Anyone who ISN’T a conservative after age 30 doesn’t have a brain.”

Winston Churchill: “Anyone who isn’t a liberal at 18 doesn’t have a heart, anyone who is a conservative after 30 doesn’t have a brain.”

Correction....I think.

...Anyone who ISN'T a conservative after 30 doesn't have a brain."

Oh, I do agree with the practice. In my mind it’s about class and chivalry. You don’t speak ill of the dead, especially not to the bereaved. It is low class. Liberal sites like DU are particularly vile when a conservative is ill and dying. I think we’re (usually) better than that over here. But sometimes it is tougher than others. When this old battleaxe finally kicks the bucket it will be one of those times.

Illness? Hah! It’s a disease like rabies. Is there an exterminator in the house?
