Now we arrive at where I stand on Obama’s relative “success.” I did not vote for the man. I do not support his socialist ideas. I stand four-square against his votes for infanticide, his votes to gut the Constitutional right to self-protection, his vague ideas of nationalizing various industries, his intention to enlarge government to unheard of proportions and his softening on terror producing countries. And since these are the things his entire life’s career point to as probable goals to “succeed” upon during his presidency… well, I want him to fail. And I want him to do so spectacularly. If Barack Obama is but a Trojan Horse for communism to push its nose under and into the tent, I want him to fail in the attempt.
Simply put I want these ideas to fail miserably because success for them would mean the destruction of this country. So, wishing Obama to succeed would be hoping for the destruction of my country if success means the accomplishments of goals like I mention above.

I haven’t watched any news channels and cannot stand the sight of even a obama sticker as to me those people what have them are brain dead sheep who are in a cult.

I haven’t watched any news, including Fox. It may be that I won’t watch any news at all except what I get online. Somehow it’s easier to see it in print. I don’t mind hearing the analysis by talk radio. Even then, that has been limited too. I don’t think I can really go back to Fox. Can someone tell me....are they completely bending over these days to strike a “tone”? My tv has been off except for the Food Channel and a few non-political shows here and there on other channels. I think the next 4 years will be just movies.
I just think of all the clueless people. Give them what they want. They aren’t even educated enough to know that they voted for socialism. For some, they aren’t even educated enough to know that socialism is even bad even if they say they voted for socialism. My whole neighborhood is Obamaphytes. UGH.

Well, the most disastrous problem he's inheriting is absolutely not "the previous administration"s fault. If you think GWB is to blame for the economy, then you have some serious homework to catch up on.
Obama is inheriting the consequences of a Democrat-controlled congress. We all will be inheriting the consequences of a Democrat congress and a Democrat White House for at least the next 4 years.
President Bush made some messes, but he didn't make this one.
I’m lucky that I live in one of the most republican counties in Florida called St Johns county but on my trips around the state I see a sticker and I just think dumb idiot you have no idea what you voted for.

I am in the most liberal county of the state. I had a Duncan Hunter sticker for the longest time but then I replaced it the day after the election with all of my stickers for pro-life. Now that FOCA is on the horizon, I will make sure the website is there too. I am really not fond of bumper stickers per se, but my car is paid for and not that great looking anyway.
My bumper stickers are pretty tame as I don’t want the slashed tires or broken windows. It would have to be a really rabid liberal to do damage to my car. They would have to literally hate BABIES to want to mess with my car.

Their dilemma is if they do nothing, America will prosper, and they will lose power. If they do anything, America will suffer and they will retain power. Their retaining power depends on suffering, not prosperity.
The problem (our only hope) that they have is that there is no honor among thieves. They are willing to spite their own nose, where the pubs weren't willing to make a stand.
Here is what most Conservatives don't understand, Libs want the system to fail, it is job security for them. If the economy goes completely into the toilet (we are circling the drain right now) the Libs will be in control for a generation. The problem will be blamed on the Conservatives and justifiably so.

GWB is not being blamed...at least anymore than the preceeding other administrationS.
And...the republicans had controll of congress before the last two years...and didn't do much with it.
