Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,
(a) Short Title.—This Act may be cited as the “National Health Insurance Act”.

But you ought to take a look through it. Not only does it introduce national health insurance, it introduces a federal VAT to pay for it.

This is the issue we must begin organizing now to defeat. It will be coming to vote this 2 year term, for certain. They are not going to waste this majority status without federalizing health care. Defeating them on this one issue is more important than any other because once it starts, we can never get rid of the new entitlement.
If you have a complex or expensive medical procedure that you need done, or if you're over 50 and need something done, and can afford it, get it done NOW. By the time Democrats are through with our health system, they'll be euthanizing everyone over 60 to keep health care costs down.
Well, at least they aren’t being sneaky about it. The coming socialism will arrive at the head of the parade, drums sounding and trumpets blaring. And, it will be led by the Anointed One, held high on the arms of the sheeple.
I fear for the future of this grand experiment. About to be swept from the world stage is the last, best hope of man; an example of freedom such as the world has never known. And, it will have been destroyed from within, by those elected to its protection, in the wrongly named spirit of ‘humanity’.
Time to refresh the tree of Liberty, IMO.

With the food supply either poisoned or shrinking, I would expect that we will see a new food pretty soon. It will be nutritious, compact and plentiful.

Congress is going to do for our health insurance what it did for home mortgages. Destroy it.
Watch for the next lib action after “national health insurance”.
It’ll be measures to prevent anyone using their own $$ to get better care.
After all, all animals are equal, but pigs (e.g. congress) will be more equal since they’ll still have their health care system.
Then THAT is the first step. Insisting that everyone has the same system, including Congress. National means all. They shouldn't get preferential treatment on the taxpayers dime.
If they are euthanizing everyone over 60, I suggest they start with Congress.
Good luck with that one...the only thing that stood between us an national health care was good paying jobs with benefits...thanks to the free trade warriors, those jobs are gone. The ironic part is conservatives embraced this with vigor and ultimately destroyed conservatism...no accident that the Mid West went for Obama.
I, for one, will not go quietly into that night....and if that ever be the case, suggest no one else does either.
This law may be challenged to Scotus, but it will be found constitutional. Piss be upon you black robed tyrants in advance.

I don't have to. I know that it's a monstrosity that is based upon false premises ("findings"). The fact is that any American (or even any illegal alien) will not be denied health care in this country bcause of a lack of insurance. Lack of insurance does not imply lack of health care (nor does lack of health care imply lack of insurance).
And this Dingell (who is introducing it) is an old Arab-kissing geezer that's been around forever.
Let's let the citizens of our country - or their families and friends, if they are incapacitated - have control of their physical selves and the way their anatomy and/or physiology is aligned or revamped. That's been our way of life since the founding, and there's no way that government bureaucrats can change that without another civil war.
