It has baffled me how the Democrats could hold on to a former KKK Grand Wizard while calling the Republicans racists for the last 50 years.Shows you the power of the liberal media. Imagine what would happen if Bryd had been a Republican?
The Republican party was founded by anti-slavery abolitionists. Why the GOP never promotes its own history is baffling to me. They just let the media get away with its re-invention of history, and generation after generation just accepts it.

Could be they ran into each other, trying to get to her first.
As I understand it, Byrd’s sheet was on sideways after the accident. Must have been some collision.

There are a lot of things that drive me crazy about the Republican Party these days, and you’ve touched on one aspect of it. They don’t defend themselves and they don’t even espouse what they are supposed to believe in. Instead they praise people like Obama for being great political leaders. Newt just got through saying he really likes Obama’s picks for his cabinet. Good grief!

Good thoughts for the health of both Kennedy and Byrd.

Manchin would qualify as a Blue Dog Democrat. Fiscal conservative, pro gun, but pro choice and has some potential baggage with a relative receiving a phantom degree from WVU. In my book he is more conservative than all Rino’s.

Ever since the Bolsheviks murdered the Tsar and his family, hasn’t it traditional for communists to kill their predecessors as soon as they take over?

In my book he is more conservative than all Rinos. Wow. Talk about damning with faint praise!
