There’s another choice. Start from the grassroots up and don’t allow another single RINO to be elected for the Republican Party. Not a single one. This starts with local elections, then state elections, governorships, federal offices, etc. Have a list of key positions they have to show leadership and a record on, like prolife, low taxes, limited government, a clean personal record (no scandals). There ARE people like that but Republicans seem to go for the glitzy and who has the most money to buy an election. Republicans haven’t stood on principle since Ronald Reagan and it only takes 1 generation to see the effects.

The change starts in each and every one of our families as conservatives. We cannot expect to live like liberals and preach conservatism. People see the hypocrisy and it turns them off.

Yes, it will be hard, but not impossible. The alternative is destruction.

We should all be scared for the next four years. Obama has the football.

This is my little attempt at a prophesy and only time will tell if I am correct. My belief is that nobody in the Obama Administration really cares if he is a one-term President or not. Their only real goal is to enact as much crap as they can in the four years until the next election. Over those four years, I see the worms of the Obama Administration wiggling their ways into everything they can, making this country weak, sharing our secrets, and tearing it down from the inside. This man and this administration now have full entitlement to TOP SECRET information. The harm will be great and Hillary has tons of experience using the Executive Power to overreach.

since this is a RUSH thread and the AZ CARDINALS are in the super bowl vs Rush’s Steelers, and the ESPN/MCNab stuff, here is an article about two of Arizona’s finest (citizens).

Mcnab does have a sense of humor (about the Cardinals flag), good for him.
one of the arrested dudes in his mug shot has on a Cardinals hat. (from East Valley Tribune)

***Cards fans arrested in burning McNabb’s lawn

Mike Sakal, Tribune January 20, 2009 - 12:09PM

Chandler police arrested two Arizona Cardinals fans who they say burned messages in the front lawn of Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Donovan McNabb’s Chandler residence a day before the NFC Championship game.

Police were able to track down the pair after they discovered a sticker containing the home address of one of the men on a cardboard sign left in McNabb’s yard.

Rex Michael Perkins, 37, of Chandler, and Ryan Hanlon, 29, of Gilbert, were arrested on suspicion of criminal damage on Sunday after police questioned Perkins about the sign that said: “Go Cards” on one side and “Beat Philly” on the other, Chandler police said.

Perkins and Hanlon also allegedly poured diesel fuel in McNabb’s yard in the 4100 block of South Purple Sage Drive to read: “Go Kurt,” and “Go Cards,” causing an estimated $2,000 in damage, Chandler police Sgt. Joe Favazzo said.

“They thought it would be funny,” Favazzo said. “They were doing it as more of a prank.”

McNabb had arrived home on Thursday to find an Arizona Cardinals flag in his front yard, and he thought it was funny, and he took it in stride, Favazzo said.

When police discovered Perkins’ address sticker on the cardboard box, officers questioned him at the station, and Hanlon later came into the station on his own, Favazzo said.

“It seems as though these two guys wanted to be funny, and when that address sticker was noticed, that’s how they got caught,” Favazzo said.

You can brew a taste into beer out of just about anything. I won’t guarantee that taste, though.

ROFL! I wouldn't either. Or you can do it like the Belgians do it and open the fermenting to whatever little bacteria land in it to do some of the fermenting....

We have a country full of mango trees. There are mango trees all over the place just growing wild.

COOL!

So what's the take in Panama? Laughter that we elected such a maroon or shock and fear?

you know, not watching or listening and not reading these blow by blow accounts can be a really good thing.

It is. I haven't seen a newscast completely through since November 5 and I probably won't see another one until...well...who knows! It has lessened my stress considerably.

My tv is off, yesterday too. I went shopping w/my GF at Macy’s. 2 Depts. had a tv on and we saw small groups watching and clapping. Ugh.

I have invested heavily in my home theater and gaming systems. Tons to do without having to watch a newscast. Got a new receiver yesterday and plan on loading Tversity onto my computer today so that I can look at all of my digital photos on my big screen.

The whole undercurrent of this sad affair, was bad bad America, we don’t do enough, whitey bad...... i found it depressing.

The under current of this whole inauguration was post modernist revision of every institution that defines this country, as well as its history. The left knows that most people don't even know what post modernist thought is, and that plays to the advantage of Obama. He can speak in platitudes and emotional buzz words, which taken out of context, sound inspiring, but Obama never tells us what the context is.

Obama making remarks after luncheon -— why is everything prefaced with racial parallels?

He's not even black. He is more white than anything.
