It has been debased into a racist travesty, but it is historic all the same. It could have been a dignified historic event if not for all the racist crap put out there by Obama and his supporters, but who really expects “dignified” from the Dims?

I see what you're getting at. This presidency is primarily a result of white liberal 'guilt'. White liberal guilt is actually a manifestation of underlying racism. The overt patronization of blacks is an overcompensation for their true racist nature.

Yes, it is historic, which all inaugurations are, but is this any more historic than any previous? I say no.

My last "begging to differ": Heck, if nothing else, it's more historic because, never before in history have we elected someone who we know so little about, and who has such a litany of unsavory ties to terrorists, crooks, race-baiters, America haters, religious charlatans, and other scum. While the media has often tried to elect presidents, I believe this is the first time they have actually succeeded. Never before has someone claimed to be such a uniter and been such a divider. Never before has someone admitted to doing coke and been elected. Never before has there been serious questions about a president's nationality. Never before has a president been compared to the Messiah and actually had over 50% of the nation thinking he can give them everything they want, at the expense of those who work, and then think that there won't be serious repercussions. There's a whole lot of history being made here.
