I’d rather watch paint dry.
Or cars rust.
Or pavement crack.
Or...
Remember, we survived the Clinton administration!
Wouldn’t this be the perfect day for everyone to pony-up and end this FReepathon??
Unlike many of the Obama worshipers, I ACTUALLY have to go to work........by God, someones gotta pay taxes for this coronation!!!!
Going to the Zoo..zoo..zoo....
I will not watch as I get physically sick watching and/or listening to the Evil One. My flag is currently hung upside down in my window.
For those of you who actually have the inner fortitude to watch this obamanation, I would like to know how close Soros will be to the actual coronation procedure. With all the millions (billions??) he’s poured into buying the presidency, I’m sure he’s entitled to nothing but the best seat in the house. Personally I can’t watch any of this but it would be still interesting to find out.
Gee with the econimics times so bad why are all these people not at work....they look like lost souls wandering in purgatory.
You mean they’re not all in town to celebrate my birthday? Just for that, I’ll be at work being productive and all...well, sort of.
To me, January 20, 2009 is not the Coronation of His Most Royal Halfrican Highness Emperor Barack Hussein Soetero Obama I, First of His Name. January 20, 2009 is my three-year-old daughter’s first snow day, and this is far more important than the Most Holy Ascension.
Therefore, I will be either on my laptop connected to work and working, while my home desktop hangs out on FR; or I’ll be out in the snow, watching North Carolina grind to a paralyzed halt in three inches of white stuff, and seeing the incomparable joy of a little child discover snow and hot chocolate for the first time.

Sorry, but I can’t watch it. America’s chosen Messiah will just have to do without me worshiping at his feet.
Is it just me or do I feel that the way of life that I have come to appreciate living in this country will officially be dead in ~2 hours and 45 minutes?
I just feel, like so totally amazed that a black man can be president! (Did I mention that I'm so not racist! In fact, my Obama button is pretty much proof. So even though the main reason I'm so excited about today is totally based on race, still, somehow, that makes me not a racist.)
And what's more, it's cool to wave an American flag! I have a little one on my desk here at Greenpeace, and I'm proud of it because somehow it all means something different than it ever did before. I have to admit, it still feels weird, after being so repulsed by it all these years, but I like it!
I'm just so excited for the hope and change! Then I can be liberated to follow rainbows and make my dreams come true! And the government can provide for me, just like a mother does for her children!

Sorry, I just dont have the stomach for it. But thanks for taking one for the team. I have to go to work today for a meeting on a day off. May as well get used to it and I now have to take care of the 52% of the country that voted themselves my dependent.
Ummmm, no thanks. I can find better things to do today, like watch paint dry on the walls.
I will be painting our downstairs bathroom today. Can’t think of a better job for today!
