I think I just saw Vice President Cheney’s military helicopter (with escorts) head slowly down the Chesapeake Bay, probably enroute to his home in St Michaels
gave him a salute and a “well done”

I lasted about 30 seconds. Right up to the point where a FOX reporter talked about the people “surging toward the light”.

Metro reported this morning that the Obamabots are causing the trains to break down. Not just by crowding into them, but by sticking their foot in the door preventing it to close (hoping to let friends get in); this breaks the door, and causes the car to be taken out of service.
Some Metro guy is pleading with the Obama worshippers to not do this.

I can’t watch, but bless you if you can.
I heard this morning that the Air Force One pilot is resigning today, and his last act is to fly the Bushes to their home in Dallas.

I pledge to do (or not do) the following:
1) Turn on the TV (it’s off and won’t be turned on today).
2) Read news sites other than Free Republic.
3) Listen to the radio (other than Rush, who I can depend on to pump up Conservatives).
4) Not trade in my sweater for a brown shirt, my Merrill’s for jack boots, and my diet Mt. Dew for Kool-Aid.
5) Focus on productive work...like the laundry, personal writing and artwork.
5) Will not watch or listen to the Ascension of Lord Obama most Unholy.
All in all a productive day for me, NOT so Obamination cultists.

This is starting to look more like a coronation than an inauguration. The press and the masses are treating Obama more like a king than a president. Frankly, I’m sickened by all of this. Obama is the most radical person to be elected president and the least quaified, yet he is being hailed as the savior of the country. If I didn’t know any better, I would say that it was the Second Coming.

I will not watch. I will have EWTN on my cable all day, and when I have to go out (I do) I will have either EWTN or the Catholic Channel on my satellite radio. I don’t have an American Flag, but I printed one on my computer and at 12:00 today will tape it upside down on my study window. I live in a cul-de-sac, so it likely won’t be seen, but at least I know it’s there. Just for today.

I am in the National Cancer Institute in Bethesda receiving my 12th dose of interleukin-2 following a cell transfer last Friday. I will sleep through the noon “non-event” praying for our nation to survive the next 4 years. Also for the medical breakthru that could potentially save the lives of many more people with metastatic melanoma as well as other forms of this bastard disease.
When I am back to health, I am available to to walk the Freeper lines when I am back in DC. Will be every 4 to 6 weeks most of 2009

SO this is how Liberty dies.......with thunderous applause. We stand behind the window, watching as our Freedom lies dying in the cradle/crypt built by a confiscatory government. And our kids are gonna have to pay for all this........

This morning on Fox they said that every piece of clothing Obama had on was bullet proof. I have NEVER heard of that before. Did Bush have all bullet proof clothing?

The Last Man Standing Refuses to Join the Cult of Barack Obama
RUSH: A programming note for those of you who are affiliates on the EIB Network, just as a reminder we are going to carry the immaculation tomorrow. We're going to carry the Immaculate Inauguration, the swearing in and the speech, the inaugural address by Barack Obama. There will be live commentary as we are known for here on the EIB Network during the immaculation address itself. However, ladies and gentlemen, I don't think at this point in time that we are going to stick with coverage of the parade. I mean we could do that, and I could describe for you the bands and the circus acts and the clowns and so forth that I see on television coverage, but I mean you could turn on the television for that. We will cover the inaugural address and we'll play it by ear after that to see where we go. I just want you to know, we'll be carrying it from start to finish, and whatever commercial time-outs, commercial breaks that are necessary to skip, we will skip tomorrow in order to bring to you the immaculation address of Barack Obama from beginning to end.
