The solution is to get Al Gore to start speaking out against “global cooling”, and it will immediately warm up.
There IS another ice age coming, overdue in fact. Whether it gets here before Hansen merges with the universe is unknowable, but unlikely.
We’re back to Global Cooling now? How long before one of the following happens:
1) This is fully incorporated into “Climate Change”
2) There never was Global Warming. The threat is Global Cooling. These aren’t the droids you’re looking for. He can go about his business. Move along.
This is a crackup. The democrats get their guy into the White House, and low and behold it is revealed that global cooling is the concern, not global warming. Their credibility will be destroyed at just the moment they thought they could ram through the legislation to take our nation down. Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa...

IMO, both prevailing sides of the public hysteria are incorrect, and western Europe will be too concerned about the economy to further pursue the carbon credits racket.

Notice that even the (highly dubious) data chart posted above shows that “global warming” peaked some years ago and the globe has cooled since.
This chart, of course, is wholly dependent on the accuracy of earth-bound measurements in very suspect locations. Even given that edge, Hansen of NASA (the guru of these things) has been publicly caught, twice, publishing “mistaken” data that promoted his cause.
But the folks who push these ideas make a whole bunch of money off global warming and, given the Obama boondoggle, stand to get much richer in the next couple of years. Hell, I may become a warmist, too. It would be dishonest, but it pays like the lottery!
