“Medved did not support McCain until AFTER he became the nominee.”
This is true. Ironically, if more conservatives had followed his lead, we wouldn’t be having to support President Obama. Medved is ok. He isn’t right on everything, but he is right on a majority of things.
Ask me if I care...
what is there to pray for?
when was the last time
more government spending, more regulation, higher taxes and an insane monetary policy and an emasculated military produced anything but a disaster?
I mean just one historical example—geez
IMHO, he WILL fail, and at the same time he will succeed famously in his planned agenda. Pray for this figurehead mt soot, but pray for him as you would pray for America’s enemies.
Hey Mike...thanks for the new tag line!
I will laugh at every stumble he makes, applaud his mistakes and cheer his enemies.
I will create doubt. Question his judgment. Support his opponents. Ridicule his errors. Mitigate his successes with suggestion of unintended consequences. I will refuse to praise his work. I will challenge his advocates when they advocate; I won’t let them own the conversation.
I will treat him with the same respect he treated President Bush.
I give him 3 months.
Is Michael Medved asking us to be “good germans”?
I’m not praying for him to fail. I know he will and fully expect him to be the pathetic, marxist that he is.
I don't need to pray for Obama to fail. His policies ensure that he will. That said, I will not pray for him to succeed. I will pray for God's blessing, through His infinite grace, to fall on this undeserving nation.
It is my strongest hope that all of BHO’s failures (and there will be many) come fast and are small, so as to limit the damage on this nation and the world.
If “The One” can be effectively neutered quickly, we can recapture the Congress in 2010 and begin the process of reclaiming our great nation.
Medved is an a$$hole. If you think he in not, try DU.
That's absolutely false. We get his program here 2-5pm in Chicago and he was a very early McCain supporter. He had no use for Romney and actually was promoting the idea that "McCain can win" "McCain is really a conservative" "McCain can win independents" during the primary season. Not to mention, he wrote a column in January 2008 gloating over the fact that conservative talk radio Rush et al. has lost its influence given the fact that McCain won a primary despite their attacks on McCain.
Yep, I remember all of his gyrating gymnastics to get his listeners to believe that McCain was a GREAT candidate for the GOP. A lot of folks called in to tell him he was crazy, but he stuck to his guns. He couldn't even support McCain in the rational way that Rush did. Now this? I used to have a lot of respect for him. He always came across as well-read and well-informed. Now I'm beginning to wonder.
I agree. Michael runs off sideways every now and then.
He is wayyyy to buddy-buddy with Lanny Davis, and switch off his show whenever he has him on.
My other gripe is that he over-does it with plugging his books. Rush has always been discrete about doing that, but Michale brings it up ever time something comes up that's mentioned in the book, no matter how indirect it is.
Well, I’ve heard the logic that if Obama has problems and needs to reach out for help it’s not going to be the right that he reached out to. And the left will exact payment for what help they offer, like another turnabout on gay “marriage”, for example.
I do not take meds of any kind. I pray for Obama's success, not for what we believe that he will do to foster Marxism, but instead that he will govern justly and support borders, language, and culture in the United States. I pray that Obama supports the culture of life to protect the innocent unborn. I pray that Obama supports free enterprise and rewards those who work hard to get ahead, like Joe the Plumber, that they are not punished for their success. I pray the Obama matures in his job as our President, and is willing to discard his many questionable pronouncements, like global warming is caused by mankind. He would not conclude that if he could bring himself to consider the compelling scientific arguments against man caused global warming.
Duping 63 million people into thinking that he's going to pay for their gas and mortgage.
Michael Medved was a big McCain supporter. That should be enough to tell anyone where Medved stands.
There are many things that I want or desire, but I would never pray to God for them.
