Al Gore’s side may be coming to power in Washington, but they appear to be losing the battle on the idea that humans are to blame for global warming.
Forty-four percent (44%) of U.S. voters now say long-term planetary trends are the cause of global warming, compared to 41% who blame it on human activity.
Seven percent (7%) attribute global warming to some other reason, and nine percent (9%) are unsure in a new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey.
Fifty-nine percent (59%) of Democrats blame global warming on human activity, compared to 21% percent of Republicans. Two-thirds of GOP voters (67%) see long-term planetary trends as the cause versus 23% of Democrats. Voters not affiliated with either party by eight points put the blame on planetary trends.

Ping me if you find one I've missed.
How did these numbers look in previous years?
go to the link... it gives much greater detail...
AND.......GROWING!!!!!!!!!
That 44% have a brain. If global warming is caused by people, why is there global warming on Mars? Who is driving the SUVs, using hairspray? Where is the livestock?
Global Warming is like the homeless. It is an issue used to beat up on the Republican President, whomever he happens to be at the time. Now that there is to be a Democrat President, it no longer serves a political purpose.
Remember how 20 Million Homeless all found a place to live the day Bill Clinton was inaugerated in 1992? After hearing about them, day in and day out, for 12 years of Reagan/Bush, the disappeared overnight.
The same will be true of Global Warming.
Sounds like a “consensus” to me.
It is interesting the breakdown along party lines.
59% dems believe
21% republicans
Global warming is caused by the sun.
PERIOD
There is no warming.
Truth can not be determined by consensus.
But then there is reality vs. the perception of reality.
Damned shame it has come down to that.
1. There is no warming. Check the data for the last 10 years. Sheesh, check half of the country for the last couple of weeks.
2. Even if there was, the percentage of that which Mankind is responsible for and could correct (short of killing 9/10 of us) is utterly miniscule. I do seem to remember reading that we’ve had a number of ice ages over the past 100,000 years or so - what, were the Mastadons driving Hummers? Also, the Martian poles have been melting back over the last few years (supposedly) - do the Martians drive too many Hummers, or has Halliburton shipped too many up there?
3. 41% of the people are still dumber that Algore.
Great find...thanks for posting.
I have more faith in people now...knowing that the mass media propaganda didnt brainwash everyone.
Man made Global Warming is a hoax...and hopefully it will not be a costly one for America
We need that number up to 94% if we are to bring back any sense of sanity to this country.
Global Warming...Caused By Man?

SOME CAVE IN EUROPE (AP) -
Scientists at the Cave University School of Climate and Fire-Making Sciences have just issued a paper, alleging that the current receding of the Ice Age is being caused by man setting fires to keep warm.
“We believe, after much research, that the current declining of the Ice Age is being caused by (cave) man’s use of fire to keep warm....and to cook mammoth meat” commented Dr. Al E Ooop, director of the Cave University School of Climate and Fire-Making Sciences.
“Also, if we do not limit the amount of smoke in the atmosphere, we could see ice melt as far north as southern Greece” added Ooop
But, there was much doubt raised by the general public and government officials
“It’s friggin cold out here” noted wooden club-maker Cap N Caveman “What kind of idiot would claim that the Ice Age is being caused by man making fires...maybe that dude is drinking fire-water to stay warm?”
However, some special interest groups welcomed Dr Ooop’s report.
“If we melt all the ice, we will die, polar bears will drown, and the giant sloths will sweat to death” claimed Miss Lib Eral, director of Enivronmental Studies at the Iceberg Foundation. “This is a man-made tragedy that must be stopped”
Barry was discussing MMGW (as the crowds froze) just yesterday.
I’m afraid regardless of what the public believes, the Pols have latched onto it as another way to tax us.
