Immigration Tops Latinos’ Wish List at D.C. Meeting
NY Times ^ | January 19, 2009 | By Fernanda Santos

A new president takes office on Tuesday. It is time to ask for favors, to settle debts accrued during the campaign season.

Latinos, who make up 9 percent of the national electorate, lent their support overwhelmingly to President-elect Barack Obama, voting for him at a rate of 2 to 1 over his Republican rival, Senator John McCain. [snip]

Simon Rosenberg, president and founder of the New Democratic Network, a progressive think tank, said that the Latino vote is now too important to be ignored and that might help speed things up in Congress, especially as congressional district lines will be redrawn after the 2010 Census. [snip]

“I anticipate a dramatic shift in power toward heavily Latino parts of the United States” following the redistricting, Mr. Rosenberg said. “Remember: in redistricting, we count people, not citizens.”

Simon’s a smart fella. He knows that with these new voters, he can fulfill Lenin’s dream here in America.

At every opportunity, ram this FACT down the throat of any self proclaimed ‘moderate’ you run across in the real world, or on the internet, folks.

Remember what our oh so accomodating Moderates said would happen if only Johnny McCain was the nominee? Why, hispanics would FLOOD to his campaign...and of course, McCain and the Moderates would be rid of us Conservatives as a direct result....(chuckle)

How’d that work out, Moderates? How did that work out LUIS GONZALES?

(sorry, just had to give a shout out to LG....lol)

He forgot "get revenge" and "ignore the Constitution".

sO WHY ARE BONIFIED LATIMO CITIZENS WORRIED ABOUT IMMIGRATION? iS IT SO THEY CAN ENSURE THEIR ILLEGAL RELATIVES ARE NOT DEPORTED OR IS IT TO ENSURE THEY INSTEAD OF )9% OF THE VOTE THEY GET 25% OR HIGHER AND CAN TAKE OVER THE COUNTRY? Sorry didn’t mean to shout(hit the caps button by mistake) but don’t want to take the time to rewrite it.

We haven’t even seen “reparations” yet. Wait until the illegals demand reparations for all of the wages they were “cheated out of” and all the “discrimination” they “suffered” prior to be given amnesty. “Immigration reform” is a 55 gallon drum full of some very ugly worms. The trial lawyers are all licking their chops right now.

“The trial lawyers are all licking their chops right now.”

And how! Lawyers run the likes of LaRaza, etc. ...not to mention our government.... They are the biggest reason for all this nonsense.

NEVER vote for a lawyer!

Didn't Obama promise no lobbyists on his team? La raza is a off shoot of ACORN. Both are considered lobbyists and some say terrorist organizations because of the way they strong armed mortgage companies to give out NINJA loans. Your tax dollars were donated to the tune of a million dollars by citigroup to la raza just before citi asked for bailout money.

Why would we count illegals for redistricting? If they are not bound by law to fill out census forms as we are why do they get counted? Why is everything Obama and his thugs do against the very people who do everything right and obey the law?

Latino groups sound more racist than black groups...the Hispanic Klux Klan

And, the problem with Latino groups is that they promote illegal alien amnesty and other crimes....and insinuate that all Hispanics are her illegally

Most Latino groups (like La Raza) just promote ethnocentricsm and hate

What the heck is a "Latino"?

Do they mean "Mexican" but are too ashamed to say it?

Or is this one of those "You must be this tan to join" clubs that excludes Greeks and Italians?

“Immigration Tops Latinos’ Wish List at D.C. Meeting”

No matter how busy Obama is, I’m sure that McShamnesty will be pushing to move on Amnesty as soon as possible.
