Letter of resignation to the RNC; I quit!
Renew America ^ | 2009-01-18 | J. R. Dieckmann

Posted on 01/18/2009 3:45:22 PM PST by rabscuttle385

After wrestling with this decision for two years now, I have resigned from the Republican party. The party no longer represents my values and I see no hope for real change in the foreseeable future.

The following letter is being sent to the Republican National Committee along with the California Republican Party by U.S. Mail. If you feel the same way, you are welcome to use this letter, or portions of it, for your own letter of resignation if you wish. Then contact your state Secretary of State's office to change your voter registration.

will insure a conservative loss.

Y'all have already insured a conservative loss. How can there be a conservative win when your leaders aren't conservatives?

It's so bad that your "leaders" on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee even rubberstamped Hillary Clinton as Secretary of State, in spite of the fact that as "co-president" she and her husband presided over the most disastrous foreign policy in the history of the republic.

Sorry, but offering continued political support to those who despise everything we believe in is just plain stupid. And at a certain point it becomes downright crazy.

So, don't support those leaders.

Change them!

Third Party leaders share views with the left.
Many of their comments I see and hear from the
Code Pinkos who I and others have countered at their rallies.

The other week when we countered a large Hamas rally,
we heard and saw from the Hamas bunch the same views of the Third Party loons.

I understand what you are talking about. It was a hell of a thing to vote for someone like John McCain, never in my life have I had the experience of being pissed off while voting for someone. It was a little bit like getting married to your rapist. It felt wrong and dirty. Things are bad, really bad.

I’m not going to quite, but I do intend to be a thorn in their side. I’m meeting with some other non-centrist Republicans Tuesday night to talk about it. May even write a thank you letter to the RNC for making the day’s festivities possible.

Me too.

Even though we’re building a party structure, because one is needed in the current political system, we are committed to the endorsement and nomination of candidates based solely on their adherence to America’s founding principles, not on party label.

We had a Republican Congress for a decade, and where did that get us?

We don’t need another Republican Congress. We need a conservative Congress. And that has little to do with what letter is by someone’s name.

"elected a black man to POTUS, but also elected an unqualified, no résumé, unaccomplished, radical left, and likely illegal alien,...macaca...Republican Chairman Mike Duncan has an article at the Center For Republican Renewal entitled "A Path to Republican Renewal" that reads like an Obama speech — "hope and change" but little else. In it he states "I believe the GOP must find a way to relate more to the everyday concerns of families across the country, while at the same time staying true to our core conservative principles and beliefs." In other words, you want to reach out to the left and moderates to grow the party,..."

...interesting political speech. There's nothing new.

As it happened during the Great Depression, real families will more often be stubbornly cohesive and monogamous for a few years despite slaver/free traitor efforts to break us all into slavery. I labor with all kinds of third-world slaves, and I'm far more conservative than most spoiled boss citizens of the world. How can we be afraid of slaves from other ethnic groups? I honestly and properly blame only those who move them around and cheat them along with the rest of us. Real families, BTW, are not run by domineering, busybody shrews with their sensitive New Age guys (SNAGs) nodding in agreement to various vices and abominations.

The more efforts to starve us along with the rest of the third-world fathers and families, the more we'll survive, become stronger, and mount domestic, capitalistic but very loyal American competition as the anti-American interests in our midst slide down.

Remember that McCain wasn't the only candidate presented to us, and we have no fear of any threats accompanying a line-up of pansies. We survived 8 years of efforts by the elite (same elite who elected each of our presidents both corrupt parties for decades) to use Hillary, Shalala and company to break us, and we're not even afraid of Obama.

You want more Republican power in government? Hire big, strong, conservative American men instead of socially confused, addicted, vindictive relatives.

Your obscene voting rules allowing for crossover primary voting by Democrats in many states

That's exactly what has me poed over everything else. Idiots.

Change them!

We are.

100% of the leaders in AIP are rock-ribbed Reagan conservatives...small "r" republicans.

100% of the electorate that will decide who our candidates will be will be that as well.

The "lost cause" lost by 2% this year.

Meaning it's not far from winning. Despite a pitiful candidate and a group of losers on the ticket with him.

If conservatives regain control of the Republican party, we've got a chance to win.

If conservatives go their own way, then the Republican party...and conservatives...are doomed.

We may not like it. And, assuredly, the leadership of the GOP doesn't like it. But conservatives and the GOP are absolutely dependent on each other. It might be a shotgun marriage...but it's the only way either is going to succeed.

Conservatives should understand that. And if the leadership of the party doesn't understand it, they need to be kicked to the curb. By conservatives.

J. R. Dieckmann;s resignation letter is spot on! I’ve told the RNC to stop sending me the begging letters and email after the election in November. I should do this in writing as JR has...

I have many issues with the RNC but no matter what they say their policy positions are I can guarantee 2 things:

First, they will be totally incompetent about communicating ANY conservative message. Bush’s communications staff (did he have one?) is exhibit A.

Second, No matter how conservative their policies are they WILL stab conservatives in the back. Illegal immigration policy is exhibit B.

I have no reason to believe they will do ANYTHING they say.

Lastly, they seem COMPLETELY ISOLATED from Joe American. It’s almost like they’re in another country. Everyone knows who Howard Dean is, but nobody knows who the head of the RNC is. Piss poor communications... just abysmal.

ditto

I am thinking of re-registering as a democrat so I am considered a constituent worth paying attention to

then voting for the most conservative candidate regardless of party. I think the future of conservatism lies in converting democrats, not changing the republican party to appeal to the ambiguous values of liberals
