So unlike Bush, if he fails to perform, he’s got no one to blame but himself.
I’ve always been suspicious that even 21 percent of the American people might be politically literate. That number is probably too high. I would imagine that 90 percent are now prepared to declare a solution in 2009 even if there is none. The American people are like that.

These are like the old Clinton approval polls. 60 percent were supposed to approve of WJC but when he ran for reelection he only won by 48 percent, 43 percent the first election, so his approval rating was faked. If it hadn’t been for Big Ears he would never have been elected to start with, and Bob Dole finished himself off. Take these polls for what they are, the MSM propping up their boy wonder. Remember, he has already pissed off a goodly portion of his base with various things he has already changed his mind on. I doubt if this poll has any basis in fact.

Everyone does not have the internet, and some who have the internet have just as easy of a time finding left leaning news as they do right leaning news.
This means more positive leftist views, in this case it translates to Obama being the coolest thing since Kool Aid. .

I am not saying that was the representative sample, but the Leftist media is now not just biased, but pure propaganda.
They have de-volved or regressed into only publishing their opinions and altering the truth to fit the Marxist end goals.

It’s too bad Obama isn’t as “optimistic” as this 79% of poll respondees. He keeps telling them that things are going to get a lot worse than they are now. We’ve got a lot of morons and idiots living in this country. Public schools? This 79% needs to listen to what their “messiah” is telling them and stop being so “optimistic.”

Make no doubt about it.
The most effective way to punish the media is to boycott them. We can start right here on the forum. Boycott the TV news and they will be badly hurt in the ratings and hence they will be hurt financially. For the print media we do not have to worry about them as much as they are dying. They are only barely alive because they are being quoted by the TV news. We vanquish TV news and we win the battle against the media.

So true. Really, it’s just human nature at this point, to reach for the drug and shun the hard reality. I’m trying to get myself more used to it.
About one day a week, I wake up and think about what is going on in the US and get so upset that I’m completely useless for the day.
It is what it is. Apparently, people would rather become engaged in an optimistic mindset than concern themselves with facing the actual problems; especially when there is this messiah figure that makes it so pre-packaged. They can be blamed for full-frontal naivete, but it’s the leaders of this movement who’ll be behind the destruction of the country.

No kidding! I have always wondered how so many Germans would practically worship and kill for Hitler and I see it happening before my eyes.
I am NOT saying Obama would ask anyone to commit genocide, but what IS scary is exactly how many of our fellow Americans WOULD DO IT IF ASKED?
Can you honestly answer that it wouldn’t be a majority in this frenzy we are witnessing?
