Just recall how a prosecutor was all set to let loose on Bill Clinton.
Sale of military secrets to Chinese, presidential pardons for hard cash amongst other misdeeds were on the agenda.
A strong case.
Bush let it all die, just slipping silently away, nor was the liberal media eager to did and find out.
Pelosi definitely is of different make-up.

This is unbelievably ludicrous and irresponsible proving yet again what idiots democrats are. How awful that more of such incompetents will be running our country.

I am ever grateful to President Bush for keeping our country safe since 9/11, his crowning achievement. Thank God it was he instead of a democrat who was president when our nation was so attacked.

A VERY GOOD EXAMPLE OF THE KIND OF REPRESENTATION WE HAVE IN CONGRESS : A noted psychiatrist was a guest speaker at an academic function where Nancy Pelosi happened to appear. Ms. Pelosi took the opportunity to schmooze the good doctor a bit and asked him a question with which he was most at ease. 'Would you mind telling me, Doctor,' she asked, 'how you detect a mental deficiency in somebody who appears completely normal?' 'Nothing is easier,' he replied. 'You ask a simple question which anyone should answer with no trouble. If the person hesitates, that puts you on the track.' 'What sort of question?' asked Pelosi. Well, you might ask, ' Captain Cook made three trips around the world and died during one of them. Which one?'' Pelosi thought a moment, and then said with a nervous laugh, 'You wouldn't happen to have another example would you? I must confess I don't know much about history.'

Not really. Plenty of democrats were all ready to impeach Bush after the last election till Nancy made it clear that it wasn't going to happen. This is all for show.

I hope Bush learns a lesson from his "new tone" strategy in 2000 to turn a blind eye to Clinton's misdeeds.

In the end, Democrats just can't turn away from their nature.

"Bush let it all die, just slipping silently away, nor was the liberal media eager to did and find out."

There was truly a "there" there. And when there is a "there" there Pelosi is right, our government has a duty to go after them.

I say go for it. It will only show how small the Democrats truly are.

Great article at that link.

Here is some of it:

The pity of B. H. Obama

In a very short time, it is going to be very hard not to pity Birdie Obama. I realize when one spends a billion dollars of other people's money to buy a job, hundreds of millions of it is fraudulent, vote fraud, political rape, savaging of a handicapped child, putting pregnant teenagers in harms stress, making of political prisoners like Lawrence Sinclair and usurping the office of the President of the United States, it is hard right now to think of pitying a white Arab American with a minority of black blood, but when one considers the hammer coming on Birdie, it will indeed be pity for him.

*snip*

Want to know who is writing the Obama Stimulus Bailout? It is not Barack Obama. It is not Rahm Emanuel. It is not the greatest of the Democratic House leadership. That bill is being written, "because it is too important", all behind closed doors of Speaker Nancy Pelosi's office.

The published accounts all relate that House Democrats are furious at being shoved aside. Committee chairmen have absolutely been stripped of all of their powers. There is one Black Widow on Capitol Hill, and her name is Nancy Pelosi. She has mated with her gavel, spun her web of control, sunk her fangs of a venomous castration drug into House Democrats, and, is ruling that place of the people as her personal dictatorship.

*snip*

Birdie Obama is about to stroll into this Pelosi dictatorship. He has already run into the female version of a chainsaw in Sen. Diane Feinstein in the Senate.[He's used to this, he is married to Michelle ya know...Ed.] Nothing though has prepared him nor Rahm Emanuel of the Executive Branch for what is awaiting them from Nancy Pelosi's Legislative Branch. Nancy will tell Birdie how high to jump and he had better jump every time, when she says, how she says and why she orders or she is going to use that gavel on Barack Hussein Obama.

*snip*

Rahm Emanuel might stroll into Congress and Barack Obama might think he rules his land as Valerie Jarrett blurted out, but it is Nancy Pelosi who is queen and she has let it be known in no uncertain terms, she is ruling.
The Republicans in the House have not even seen the "stimulus" bill. That is how much control Pelosi is ruling by.
She is defacto President of the United States and in the next 2 years has one mission. That mission is not to make Barack Obama look good nor to get him re elected in 2012. That mission is to do four things:

1. Payback all of the Democratic elite political cronies with all the money they can legally spend.

2. Smash the Republicans further.

3. Set the stage for an even broader majority for Democrats to rule from.

4. Rule the United States of America from the US Congress.

This is what every Democratic Speaker from the last 40 years has accomplished, including Newt Gingrich, with the exception of the few years Ronald Reagan used people contacting Congress to scare them.

Mr. Obama has no base to unleash on Congress. If he plays the race card, he will loose the liberal press as they will be so Blagojevich hurt that their illusion of not being racists is broken, that it will be Jimmy Carter all over again blaming America for all his ineptness.

Birdie can sign all legislation in silence to appease Congress, but then in the coming elections he will be branded the father of every failure which there are numbers of going to be.

Nancy Pelosi will not take credit for any failures, but pass the blame onto Mr. Obama.
Let Mr. Obama pass the problem of foreign policy on Hillary Clinton and he will find alienation and real problems as the Clinton's are the equals of Mrs. Pelosi.

I really do not know if there are enough cigarettes in the world to deal with the cage Birdie will be smoking in to get some relief.

If the GOP is intelligent, they will just stand back and let Mrs. Pelosi and Mr. Obama take full credit for all they are passing, because all of their economic and foreign policy will not fix the constriction of the world economy nor the aggression of the furious masses about to explode in war.
There was just too much money, too much money buying things at inflated prices and too many 3rd worlders shifting to the work force taking American jobs, which now all is going to require 2 years to stabilize under Keynesian economics. Under Pelosi and Obamanomics it will take like Franklin Roosevelt's horrid meddling 7 years, which is exactly what is planned to keep all these Democrats in office, including Mr. Obama if he does not look to girly with Nancy doing all the driving for him wearing his pants.

There is more at your link.

I can't post any more of it, I'm crying and laughing at the same time...LOL

“Better them spending time on this than writing legislation.”

You got it right. If the Dem's want to waste precious political capital with persecuting Bush, then let them have at it. Nothing substantive will come of it other than the Dem's will perhaps loose both houses at the next election. Same thing with them taking on the 2nd Amendment. There are many misguided gun owners who voted the Dem ticket this past go around who will come home if the Dem's should be so stupid. Sooo, let the games begin...

There was truly a "there" there. And when there is a "there" there Pelosi is right, our government has a duty to go after them.

Understand that that applies only when 'they' are 'Republicans', in Nine Percent Peloser's world. Otherwise, they are simply expressing their freedoms of being.

Keep talking Nancy: If President Bush is smart, he'll issue a blanket pardon to EVERYONE who took part in the War on Terror all the way up to Vice President Cheney, resign at the last minute and let "President" Cheney pardon him! Watch her head explode!!

So, we are the party of conscience, when do we become the party of making the democrats accountable? We’ve got to stop being goodie2shoes and hold their feet to the fire. This has just gotten ridicules.

Things Republicans “should” have learned. (keep the list growning hopefully the leadership will read this.

1. We learned Republicans CAN’T go to Washington and extend an Olive Branch, in turn they send us to the out house.
2. We learned the press does not tell the truth or report the news, they have just become a club of ......?
3. We learned the democratic party is much more internet savvy than the republican party. This needs to be fixed!!
4. We learned the democratic party appeals to the younger generation and is in touch with them. Are we?
5. We learned there is a big money underground to get democrats elected.
6.

“She better be ready for the second civil war to start!”

-Hear. Hear. These people had better be wary. Not voting for a senile creep like McCain doesn’t necessarily mean that conversely, Nancy and Barney have some kind of 80%+ landslide majority.

If they’re not careful, they are going to squander what goodwill they have even faster than Bush did.

Democrats are hardly ever compelled by law to do anything. However, if the Nancy woman is sincere then let's see her "give up" McNamara, Kerry, Jane Fonda, and other Viet Nam era war criminals FIRST.

There's a really big backlog of this stuff, and it's her side that has to move first. Else, we cannot give her any guarantees about good behavior should she decide to jump the reservation and just start killing people.

Pelosi is just trying to ramp up the angry leftist special interest groups, in preparation for the anointment of the Leader. It’s much like Obama promising to sign an executive order to close Gitmo, eventually, somewhere down the road, when he figures out what to do with the dangerous people that are housed there.

Promises, promises. I wish that he’d make more of an effort to keep the promise of tax cuts for anyone earning less than $250,000.

Mindboggeling!

Bush kept us safte for 8 years!

Rep. John Conyers, chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, announced Friday he wants to set up a commission to look into whether the Bush administration broke the law by taking the nation to war against Iraq and instituting aggressive anti-terror initiatives. The Michigan Democrat called for an

“independent criminal probe into whether any laws were broken in connection with these activities.”

Can you BELIEVE THIS?

Amazingly STUPID!
