My kids and I met several of the Tuskeegee Airmen when they were at The Cradle of Aviation Museum here on Long Island.
What nice, delightful and dignified gentlemen they were! And so happy that my then seven-year-old knew EXACTLY who they were and demonstrated a level of excitement that only seven year old boys can muster.
That said...I’m with the poster above who said he might very well vomit sometime before the 21st.
Regards,
I KNEW I recognized Dr. McMahan’s name! I read about him in the USM Alumni magazine, “The Talon”, last year. He and his wife made a sizeable donation to the Dubard School for Language Disorders at USM. I remembered it, because one of our best friends is the Director of the School.
No kidding. I despise Obambi, but I can understand why these men would want to go to the inauguration. Too bad the first 'black' president doesn't have a 10th of the character of the Tuskegee Airmen.
The Tuskegee airmen are true heroes and deserving of the trip.
Ok, that is far cooler. Definitely.
