THE MOST IMPORTANT QUESTION
During my second month of night school, our professor gave a pop quiz. I was a conscientious student and had breezed through the questions, until I read the last one: "What is the first name of the woman who cleans the school?"
Obviously this was some kind of joke. I had seen the cleaning woman several times. She was tall, dark-haired and in her 50s, but how would I know her name? I handed in my paper leaving the last question blank.
Before class ended, one student asked if the last question would count on our quiz grade. "Absolutely," said the professor. "In your lives, in your careers, you will meet many people. All are significant. They deserve your attention and care."
I've never forgotten that lesson. I also learned her first name was Dorothy.

Thank you, but I'll pass. I had all the snow & cold I could ever care for; growing up in the Great Lakes Area, then the Army seeing that I got extra helpings of it at Ft. Riley Kansas, in Germany, and then in Korea.

All is well except this spring-like weather. I would be happy if I knew it was here to stay, but I know that all the standing water is going to freeze and that makes getting to and fro REALLY hazardous. It’s been hanging in the mid 30s all weekend. “They” say it will drop tonight and maybe snow a tad bit.
