Hamas: Fight to Continue
Reported: 01:25 AM - Jan/18/09
(IsraelNN.com) Following Acting Prime Minister Ehud Olmert’s Saturday night speech announcing a unilateral Israeli ceasefire, Hamas spokesman Fauzi Barhoum reaffirmed that the group would not stop its attacks. Gaza terrorists fired several rockets at Be’er Sheva shortly after Olmert concluded his speech.
Hamas leader in Lebanon Osama Hamdan termed Olmert’s speech The second failure speech. Olmert made his speech in an attempt to avoid a panel of inquiry similar to that established after the Second Lebanon War, Hamdan claimed.

“Hamas leader in Lebanon Osama Hamdan...”
Thank you Diogenesis for the post.
“If not...”
Ditto.
However, I tend to agree with neocon1984 that in the long run this may be a blessing in disguise for Israel.
Hamas is not beaten but weakened and Kadima/Labor have failed which should leave the field open for Netanyahu. Now, Mr Netanyahu may not be as strong as we believe. Some Israeli bloggers are very afraid that he will try to form a coalition with Labor and Kadima. However, give the recent events that may not be politically possible.
Let us hope and pray that the outcome of the election is such that Likud will have to join with the nationalist religious parties. Then Israel may become a strong nation again.
Thanks again for all your work Cindy. *Bookmarked* I was there when Rev Kook's Yeshiva was blasted...any links to that...you can email me the link as it's off topic( IF you have time) Todah b'shabbas shalom Karliner
