Dear Readers, below is message sent out yesterday by Navy Chaplain Gordon Klingenschmitt following up on our story yesterday about a twisted homosexual “pig sex” orgy planned for tomorrow (Saturday) night at the Doubletree Hotel Washington (1515 Rhode Island Ave. NW, Washington, D.C., just blocks from the White House). Chaplain Klingenschmitt wrote to me, concerned that the story about the orgy at Doubletree was an Internet rumor. I wrote him back affirming that it was not: our source was an e-mail sent by the perverted orgy group itself (Fort Troff) to a homosexual. The reason for the confusion is that the Doubletree Hotel is now dissembling and deceiving people who have called them to complain about the event.
As AFTAH’s original story made clear, the orgy group, “MAL Maneuvers” (affiliated with Fort Troff) was telling its followers to go to the Doubletree at midnight on Saturday, and advertising all the revolting devices that would assist them in their unspeakable perversions. The Doubletree Hotel sales director, Felix Barreras, confirmed to me that the hotel had a “legal, binding contract” with “MAL Maneuvers.” Barreras said the hotel did not know about any of the sexual perversions planned, and that sex acts would not be allowed in a conference room, which is a “public space.” MAL Maneuvers is held in concert with the larger “Mid-Atlantic Leather (MAL) Weekend,” a sadomasochism celebration held at the Washington Plaza Hotel (202-842-1300).
Based on the notes and calls AFTAH received from pro-family advocates who had called the Doubletree to complain, it is clear that that some Doubletree Hotel staffers have been deceiving people by telling them that they called the wrong hotel – i.e., saying that the Washington Plaza Hotel is hosting the leather event – but NOT telling them that a separate group (MAL Maneuvers) had booked their hotel, the Doubletree, for an orgy. As AFTAH reported, I sent Barreras a copy of the e-mail from MAL Maneuvers (Fort Troff) discussing the plans for the orgy at Doubletree.
Yesterday, I received a call from a “Tom” on the staff of Doubletree who — while not wanting to be quoted — reiterated that sex acts would not be allowed in the conference rooms. He said the area would be used for “exhibitors.” However, Klingenschmitt’s queries with other Doubletree staff uncovered a different story (Doubletree staff are not returning calls to AFTAH). Moreover, per the claims below, hotel staff are misinforming some pro-family critics by telling them that no MAL attendees are even staying at the Doubletree — another falsehood and the opposite of what Barreras told me. Amidst all the mixed messages, it appears that the orgy — or some event with MAL Maneuvers, whose “piggish” purpose is to pull a group of men together to “[sodomize] their brains out” — is still going to go on in the Doubletree conference rooms — unless Doubletree or parent company Hilton elects to shut it down due to public pressure. One more note: The phenomenon of homosexual orgies at hotels is not new. Over the years, I’ve heard several first- and second-hand stories about “gay” or leather events in which all the hotel’s rooms are bought up and the hotel is literally locked up so the public is kept out and the party/orgy can take place. Here’s some damning clarification…I’ve done more digging on this story, and found it to be true, and the Doubletree Hotel Managers are boldly lying to the public.

Upon hearing the internet rumors of a homosexual pig-sex orgy scheduled at the Double Tree Hotel in Washington DC during the inauguration, I called their hotel manager Jim Wasser at 202-232-7000 to verify the facts. Mr. Wasser repeatedly denied the rumors, denied his hotel is hosting any homosexual groups, and said no conference or sleeping rooms were reserved for any such group, or any such activity.
But when I called the same hotel’s “Sales and Catering” department, two of their employees confirmed that the “Mid-Atlantic Leather Maneuvers” group has indeed reserved the entire second floor of conference rooms (including the “Congressional, Directors, and Cabinet” rooms) for three nights 17-19 Jan 09 for a “private” group function.
HOTEL EMPLOYEES ADMIT MR. WASSER IS LYING.
I also called the hotel reservation center at 1-800-492-5195, and asked if the Doubletree hotel was still taking sleeping room reservations for the “Mid-Atlantic Leather Group” advertised (as one of three hotels listed at www.leatherweekend.com/hotel), the Doubletree reservations operator replied: “Yes, we have a block of rooms reserved for the Mid-Atlantic Leather Group at discount pricing, but the event is oversold, and we can no longer offer the discount rate. But if you wish to join that group, we can still sell you rooms at the premium rate.”

Now two different sets of Doubletree hotel employees confirmed to me that their own hotel manager Mr. Jim Wasser is a bald-faced liar.
I called Mr. Jim Wasser back to call him a liar, and he transferred me to his supervisor Thomas Toliver (the hotel manager), who did not return my detailed message. So I left another detailed message with the very top hotel General Manager Rodney Bernard, who also did not return my call.

Reading the substance of the article, including the multiple independent sources from within the hotel in question, and the gay website, all of which corroborate the story...I see nothing to indicate he is a loon.
Why are you apparently anxious to discredit this?
Gordon Klingenschmitt is a self-service jask*ass who was thrown out of the Navy after being convicted by a Navy special court-martial, for disobeying an order not to wear his uniform for media appearance.
His moniker of “chaplain” is an insult to those in uniform.

Thank goodness every hotel and motel bed you’ve ever slept on has never been used for anything kinky or otherwise nasty.
But come to think of it I do recall a news report several years ago, probably during sweeps week when they put the trashier stories, where the reporter visited a nice hotel and checked his room with a UV light that can detect, shall we say, human evidence not apparent to normal sight. The floor and bedding fluoresced like a ghost convention.
That’s why we often take our own sheets and mattress cover.

Repress much? A private group rents a private room(s) and you are really that concerned for the janitorial staff? I think your concern would be better focused on such activities that are allowed in public like the san fran festival.
Discredit what? The story keeps changing. If you follow his original assertions to the toned down nature of subsequent postings you’ll understand what I mmean.
Guranteed you’ll see Peter LaBarbera caught in a washroom in the near future.
You do not have to patronize Hilton or Doubletree. You are perfectly free to "investigate" this story, and to publish your findings. If that leads others to avoid Hilton and Doubletree, it is the free market at work. The management of those hotels will have to decide which customers they value more.
But the hotels do not have to honor YOUR moral sensibilities when making a business decision. Forcing them to do so is little more than tyranny.
I travel with a set of tongs. First thing I do in a hotel room is use the tongs to drag the bedspread into the corner. And I leave it there. Have you ever seen one of those blacklight pictures of a hotel bedspread? ewwwwww! At least they wash the sheets.
