Obama isn't even sworn in yet and the dhimmicrats are setting the stage for Obama to pull a Hugo Chavez.
This comes up all the time. Just a lot of hot air.
No, THEY should be very afraid!
Sounds like something Hugo Chavez would do.
Change the limit to ONE term.
I was going to say exactly that but I got to thinking. We’re talking about the messiah here.
OTOH getting the states to do it is a lot tougher than it sounds.
Venezuela lawmakers pass unlimited re-election bill
CARACAS (AFP) The Venezuelan National Assembly passed a constitutional amendment allowing unlimited re-election of the president and all other elected officials that must now be submitted to referendum within 30 days.
The measure is President Hugo Chavez's second attempt at seeking unlimited reelection. The constitution was amended one year after he was elected in 1998 to allow him to run for a second term in 2006.
Is the left in this country really all that different from Hugo Chavez?
This is premature resolution by a sycophant trying to curry favor with the one. It is highly doubtful that it will go anywhere in time to extend the Honeymoon.
gnip...
One term for all congressmen and presidents would work very well. This takes them out of constant campaign mode and to doing their job.
How about six months?
Can anyone say “Cesar Chavez”, “Adolf Hitler”, “Benito Mussolini”, “Josef Stalin”.......?

Another F--- Commie!
What’s to worry about? The state legislatures would ultimately have to pass this and you know they’ll do the right thing. After all, isn’t that what those folks who want to repeal the 17th Amendment keep trying to tell us?
Bloomberg did it in NYC. Frightening.
As always, the democrats are guilty of what they accuse others. For the past eight years we’ve heard conspiracies from their side how President Bush would find a way to be dictator for life.. as soon as they get the White House, they try just this...
Why don’t they propose repealing the 16th amendment instead?
Oh, wait...
