Actually, I don’t believe THIS crash was caused by the ROP.

Like, we can't really know if it was a bird, a flock of birds, or an explosive in that engine until the plane is raised and examined in detail by competent forensic analysts.

Still I can just picture a bunch of muslims at mosques cursing it didn’t hit any buildings. After all, Achmed, what good is a plane if it doesn’t hit a building?
(Anyone else think of ‘Pink Floyd - The Wall’ in that last sentence? How can you have any pudding if you don’t eat your meat?)
I am totally grateful for this miracle that everyone made it off and that boats were able to get to them quickly.
That said, I shudder that this will now allow the production of several made-for-tv movies, forcing us to endure the likes of Loni Anderson as the calm veteran flight attendant, Valerie Bertinelli, Tina Fey as an Obama cabinet candidate, the ‘Leave Britney Alone!’ girl as hysterical passenger number 3, and Hal Linden as both the pilot AND the flight controller (twins, in the story version).
