Well Airbuses are designed to float well in ditching to allow escape, thats one good thing about them.

All passenger jets (not just Airbus Industries) will float due to their structural ability to maintain a moderately pressurized atmosphere in the fuselage. As the baggage hold and wing air spaces fill with water, the plane will settle. It may not completely sink if the passenger space does not fill up, but with all the exits open, it’s just a matter of time.
