All passenger jets (not just Airbus Industries) will float due to their structural ability to maintain a moderately pressurized atmosphere in the fuselage. As the baggage hold and wing air spaces fill with water, the plane will settle. It may not completely sink if the passenger space does not fill up, but with all the exits open, it’s just a matter of time.

except never sit in the back of a boeing if you can, they are designed to sink bottom first and you cannot open the back doors in a ditching only the front half exits only are used,as the bottom drops quick but with Airbus, they use all exits as it is less weight and floats level.
