Incoming White House energy-environment czar Carol Browner was recently discovered to be a commissioner in Socialist International. While that revelation has been ignored by the mainstream media and blithely dismissed by her supporters, you may soon be paying the cost of Browner’s political beliefs in your electricity bill.
So what does all this have to do with your electricity bill? In late-December, Carbon Control News reported that Browner was a “strong backer” of utility “decoupling,” which had emerged as a “key climate policy priority for Obama.”
How would decoupling actually function in practice? There are several different schemes for decoupling, but their tedious complexity precludes elaboration here. But the schemes all essentially amount to the same thing -- sticking it to ratepayers and taxpayers. This should come as no surprise, when you stop to think about it.

There is no filibuster possible because Browner is not a cabinet nominee. She is a “climate czar” which is something that Obama just came up with, and she is not subject to the consent of the senate.
We need to create a new country and get the hell out of Dodge.

No spending other than on essentials. No trips, no new car, no new clothing, no new nothing. Money is NOT going into the economy for goods and services...it’s going into my mattress. Tax dollars paid in will be at a minimum because I’ll work less and less and work more and more under the table for cash, or barter. I’ll do without.

Thanks for clearing up that Ms. Browner is not a cabinet nominee. For some reason I thought she was being nominated for Secretary of Energy. My bad!
Let's see, Obama had a liberation-theology-practicing "spiritual mentor" for twenty years, he was given $50 million to distribute by a Marxist/terrorist fellow board member, and he has appointed to the position of "energy-environment czar" a "commissioner in Socialist International.
I'm beginning to notice a trend here, but I can't quite make it out.
I thought the same thing about Jimmy Carter, so don't give up hope. But yes, things look very grim indeed. I think we'll be longing for the days of Carterian stagflation before OhBummer's term is up.
Browner’s past record include using the power of each office to subvert national policy and structure. She will continue in that vein.
