WASHINGTON — To look at President-elect Barack Obama and Sen. Lindsey Graham sitting side by side Wednesday and to hear them passing out praise, you wouldn't know that scarcely 10 weeks ago they were at political war.

Graham, a South Carolina Republican, is a close friend of Sen. John McCain and crisscrossed the country with him during his losing presidential bid.

"I think this is a good way to get started," Graham said as he sat with Obama and Vice President-elect Joe Biden before a throng of journalists at the Obama transition headquarters in Washington. "The campaign is over. I'm disappointed in the outcome, but like every American I'm excited about what awaits our country in the future.

Why don't gramnesty switch parties. He is a liberal and the poor fools in south Carolina reelected him. But then he has a lot on company as a republican in the senate and member of the Democrat lite party.

The GOP has become the Whig party. All the retirements and cozying up to the Democrats is an indication.

It sounds like Lindsey is going to be a good, little, “bipartisan” boy and go along with everything the Marxists come up with.

I can’t believe I was tricked into backing John McCain. I do feel better knowing I was duped just like Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, and even John-McCain extreme dis-liker, Mark Levin.

There’s a term in the gay community for this kind of behavior ...but this is a family website.

I have not given the GOP a penny since the Gang of 14 fiasco. They will get money from me when they have a platform and leadership I can proudly support (which may never happen again) and not before.

I disagree. I don’t think Rush and Sean, or even Ann Coulter for that matter, were duped into supporting McCain. They were all very vocal during the primaries as to why he was a terrible candidate for us, but they agreed that, as bad as he was, Obama was worse. I know that’s how I felt.

I hate that Obama won, but I’m not sorry that McCain lost. He and Lindsey need to switch parties.
