Yes but has Iran and the Hamas “leadership” signed off. Otherwise it’s a ruse.
Iran was threatening to pull the plug on the monies to Hamas if they did agree to the Egyptian ceasefire plan.
So let’s wait and see. Besides, have the Israelis reached their objectives? We don’t know.

How many rockets fell on Ashkelon and S'derot during the last "cease fire;" wasn't it about 7,500?

Israel must reject this and finish them off. It will only give them time to regroup and re-arm.

Maybe I'm dumb, but I don't grasp the concept of an unconditional cease-fire.
Unconditional surrender? Sure, that makes a lot of sense.
Unconditional cease-fire? "Uhhhhh, we will stop shooting but we haven't lost -- OK?" What kind of concept is that?
To: Islander7
I’m sure a Hamas declaration of victory will be forthcoming soon. (Yeah I’ve seen this movie before)

They need time to see who is left to promote into leadership roles. Ought to be done and promotions effective by Saturday. See you then!

Fine. The conditions are as follows:
Every hamas member reports to the first available IDF patrol unarmed with his or her hands up.
hamas disbands as an organization.
Pvt. Shalit is released immediately.
All rockets, mortars, bombs, guns, ammunition, knives, pointy sticks, etc possessed by hamas members or any of their designees are turned over to the IDF immediately.
That'll do for a start.
If these conditions are not agreed to publicly, in writing in Arabid-no ceasefire.

Do they mean it, I wonder? Or are they just trying to give the international community one more way to criticize Israel, assuming they continue the operation?

Agree. With these types, just surviving is reason to declare victory. Hamas needs to be destroyed utterly.

"Not sure what an unconditional ceasefire actually means."
They obviously don't know either. "Agreeing" to an unconditional cease fire only applies if your opponent has offered one. The Israelis haven't.

Not good enough. Lol, they think Israel is as big a bunch of fools as they themselves are. Keep killing them, Israel!
