Are you saying that if asked, you wouldn’t take the chance to sit down with Bambi and give him your opinion? Even if you have 1/10th of a percent of a chance to actually say something that could influence him, that is 1/10th of a percent more of a chance than if you sat at home clicking away on your keyboard.

If it’s true, why would you criticize Rush for taking advantage of the opportunity to tell Obama what to do? The fact is that this is Obama’s first real job and he absolutely does not have a clue what to do. I imagine he’s scared to death. Rush might be able to say a thing or two to him—now, when he’s not sheltered behind the presidential desk in the Oval Office—that could get through. And I’m sure anyway that Rush wants to take the measure of the man.
He is staying in the Lincoln bedroom and is leaving a hilarious note for either Rev Farrakan, Rev Wright, or Bill Ayers......
Why, ye of little faith? If true, I hope Rush will give him some advice about going too far left with his ideas and how there are over 50 million people that DID NOT vote for him. We’ll hear tomorrow or next.
Bambi is actually our Manchurian Candidate. It flipped somewhere around 1996 listening to Rush Limbaugh. After several top meetings with Rush, Cheney, the Trilateral Commission, and the Pope, he was convinced to continue to play the liberal part and become the 'perfect Democrat'. He then, once winning the election, would flip, declare his seeing the light, and admitting he is a dittohead Conservative.

Rush has visited the WH, talked with and been friends with Presidents, Vice Presidents, Supreme Court Justices, and others in high places. It didn’t prevent him from voicing his differences of opinion with them, or criticizing decisions they have made. He isn’t likely to change his core Conservative beliefs or betray them now, regardless with whom he discusses the issues of the day.
I see nothing wrong in having a discussion with Obama.
I thought I heard Bill Bennet say this morning that there was going to be some type of reception with the President in DC today. He said he was invited but could not attend.
My guess is that they met with GWB.
