US president-elect Barack Obama has invited the world's first openly gay Anglican bishop to offer the prayer that will mark the beginning of the inauguration festivities.
In an email sent to a US blog yesterday the Right Rev Gene Robinson, of New Hampshire, said it would be an "enormous honour" to offer prayers for the country and its new president at the Lincoln Memorial.
He wrote that he was "humbled and overjoyed" at the news and took the invitation as a sign of Obama's commitment to being "president of all the people".

Warren is still giving the invocation at the official inaugural ceremony, this apostatical abomination is giving the invocation at the opening ceremony for the celebration, on the steps of the Lincoln memorial.
Typical Marxist behavior: In the name of egalitarianism, shatter the distinction between sexual orientation. With the use as religion as a tool, no one has the right to question something that is a religious belief.

"Humbled" is the very last thing Robinson EVER is. The man willingly led the Episcopal Church into heresy and disarray for his own aggrandizement. He's a selfish, evil-minded pig.
He ruined the Episcopal Church. Once upon a time, the Episcopal Church was a beautiful institution that brought high prestiege and class to its members. Even Africans have seen the desecration and the end of the Church because Robinson has been so selfish and evil-minded.
Please-we need a Second Coming. NOW!
It isn’t the fact that he is gay that bothers me. Its the fact that he was picked expressly for being gay that gets to me.
Obama is appeasing the gays that cried about Warren doing the Inaugural. But then I suppose Warren was also chosen to appease someone else.
I suppose we shouldn’t get too upset, I have an idea there will be appeasement to a lot worse characters than these two before Obama is done.

What was revealing was a day later, she said she
knew those comments would make her message boards
go wild, which they did .. and read a few divergent
comments.
Then she had the frocked one on, and asked him
about the comments he got, and she added: ‘what
about from the right wingers.’
I’ve never heard her use that phrase on her
show before (might be I missed it), but that
solidified my thoughts about her position.
I just read an article on here about the Court in Washington State declaring that it is okay for teachers to have sex with 18 year old students! I can't believe what this world is coming to - liberals condoning sexual predators/deviates, criminals of all sorts being set free or not convicted at all, etc. because of so-called “rights” of some sort. There is no high code of morality that these people believe in today, no standards or ethics are upheld anymore. It has become a “If it feels good, do it,” nation. God and religion are trashed by the liberal thinking population regularly. I am glad I am a senior citizen and won't have many years left to see our how fast our country is turning into a Sodom and Gomorrah. I mourn for our children.
