(CNN) — Sarah Palin fired a new salvo in her war on the media, unloading in a new interview on her home state paper and “bored, anonymous, pathetic bloggers who lie.”

The Alaska governor, who has granted a steady stream of interviews since Election Day, also told an Esquire reporter that she wishes she had told McCain campaign advisors she’d be “callin’ some of the shots.”

All Republicans need to follow Sarah’s lead in criticizing the media. It’s a dangerous game for Sarah to take on alone, but exposure of the Omedia needs to be part of the national, conservative plan, and if Sarah is going to take it on, I’m behind her. It’s going to get personal, because the Omedias smear methods are personal.

She shouldn’t address what “anonymous pathetic bloggers” have to say. She gives them more weight than they deserve. Most people have never heard what these bloggers have to say about her until she brings it up.

“She’s been beating this dead horse since the campaign ended. We already know she hates the media and she feels they treated her unfairly. It makes it appear that she has nothing substantive to talk about, and it makes her appear a little petty.”

Well, we can all ignore the media determining this election and just keep losing elections, like we have been or we can speak out like Palin is.....damned if you do, damned if you don’t. At least she has the cajones to try to expose them.

There was a scene in one of the Rocky movies where Rocky was getting pounded and his corner man was getting nervous..... but Pauly said don’t worry, he’s just getting mad ! And , of course, Rocky went on to win.

Something about SP and these interviews reminds me of this. She putting her chin out to test the strength of her opponents....just like Rocky....don’t worry about her....she absorbs strength from this pounding! Like RR, the more they hit her the stronger she gets.

‘She can’t keep doing this. Sarah, you can’t take on the media. They’re only waiting for you to say things like this to mock you for it. Ignore them.’

No. She has to address all of this stuff before she can move on as a future candidate for national office. If Palin doesn’t respond to the lies and inaccuracies that were prevalent during the ‘08 campaign, then all of the nonsense directed at her from last year will simply be repeated over and over and over again next time.

Yes, WE already know this stuff, mostly because we like Sarah Palin and read blogs about Sarah Palin and so on. Most Americans don’t follow events like Freepers do. So, by doing these interviews and (hopefully) having them picked up by the MSM, there’s hope that perhaps there are some ‘normal’ people who might be learning something positive about Palin that they never knew before. We’re not the target audience for these interviews.

Here we go again.. I am starting to get torn on the usefulness of the subject of these interviews Sarah is granting in the big scheme of things. I am all for standing up and slamming the media after how they have treated Sarah, her family, and conservatives in general, something BTW Bush NEVER did, but some of these interviews about the media and blogs are starting to wear a bit (even though the MSM runs with them with tongues wagging). I know she has to defend her family and these smears about her son are ridiculous. But, when is it time to ignore it and move on...

Just because you have read multiple articles on this subject does not mean that Sarah is giving multiple interviews where she is harping on this subject.

"She shouldn’t address what “anonymous pathetic bloggers” have to say. She gives them more weight than they deserve."

Tina Fey brought up and slammed the "bloggers" when she accepted a recent award. The MSM loved it.

You know...I'm in total agreement that you need to call the media out on this, but you need to direct a response too!

She can't just grouse about it, she has to "direct fire" at the purveyors of yellow media. If she wants to lead, then by all means lead on this issue. If she can't, being she's been so abused by the media, then who can?

1. She should recommend everyone review their 401K portfolios and sell off any GE, NYT, or any other media company which panders to the hard left. List them by name.

2. She should call on corporate CEO's to review their advertising media buying and instruct against supporting leftist publications and broadcasts. It hurts their corporate image and long-term health.

3. Review the state of Alaska's pension portfolios and divest of all leftist media and request other "like-minded" governors do the same.

4. Make it know that she will not accept any interview requests from any leftist media until she receives a full and complete page one or on-air in prime time apology for bringing her family into any discussion or her qualifications. She's fair game as a public servant, but her family is not.

My point is that she’s said her piece about the media and how she thinks the campaign was handled and how she wasn’t portrayed fairly, and she’s just a small town girl in the midst of the “upper echelon” politicians, and she’s just a hockey mom who was managed by the “Washington insiders” who didn’t do her justice, blah blah blah. She needs to accept responsibility for some of what happened, and she needs to move on. Everyone knows how she feels about the media. There has to be more substance than that she thinks she’s a victim of the “main stream media elite”.

Palin is starting to look like a no class whiner. Point out one time that you wished things had gone differently, then let it go. All of the whining about the press and about McCain and about his staff is just making her look bad.
If she didn’t like the way the campaign was being run she should have stepped up and said something. If she was really unhappy, she could have stepped down. She gained supporters by her stance on the issues but now the only issue that she seems to be interested in is Sarah Palin.

All of those who are piling on McCain from Palin to Joe the (damned near anything but a ) Plumber and his staff look like weasels.

Personally, I’m glad somebody is taking on the MSM.

The only fight she loses seems to be the ones she isn’t allowed to have, as the last election cycle demonstrated.

‘The thing is — she can’t “attack” the media. Although it is a subdivision of the Democratic Party, it makes her look stupid and whiny in the average person’s eye (of course aided by the MSM). Basically, it’s a losing game either way, but she’d lose faster if she just ignored them, and less damage would be done.’

That’s a defeatist strategy. She’d lose faster and do less damage if she just kept her mouth shut? That’s what McCain did. How’d that work out for him?

Boy, it sure looks like a bunch of N00b trolls have gathered on this thread to bash Sarah Palin.

Must be they are afraid what she is doing will expose the liberal pukes in the media that print the lies of the DUcks and the KOS kool-aid kids?

She probably thinks she was chosen as VP candidate to WIN.

I suspect she was picked to make a convenient target that was not McCain.

If 0bama had gone after McCain directly, McCain would have gone after 0bama, then when McCain went back to the Senate he'd be much less effective in “reaching across the aisle” for 0bama.

As soon as Palin was named, she drew enemy fire like a candle in a silk moth farm. How often was she compared directly to 0bama, and Biden never was mentioned? It's as though SHE was the POTUS candidate, not McCain.

I too am tiring of her whining. if she wants to stay in politics and be something other than governor, offer helpful suggestions or give talks about responsibility and power or something.

Even a Sarah Palin channel would get boring if all she did was whine about how unfair the media was to her.

I’m torn as you are, but I feel like if she wants to have a political future other than just in Alaska, she needs to stop with the interviews about the media. All she’s doing is hurting herself as the very people she is unloading on today will remember this should she make another national run and then it will REALLY get ugly.

Could not disagree with you more.

If she, or any other Republican candidate, backs off of calling the press out on their agenda, lack of objectivity, and lack of fairness it will only emboldened them in their propaganda campaign against the GOP and conservatism in particular.

The Press is just like any other bully, they need to be backed into a corner and bloodied before they get the message not to mess with you.
