I can’t believe this Alina Cho thought the Pepsi logo was influenced by Obama, rather than vice-versa.

Where do you get that idea?

Of course the new Pepsi logo is influenced by it! The change in the pattern is very similar and the whole "Optimism" thing is right out of 0bama's playbook.

But she even pointed out...

ROBERTS: That Pepsi commercial -- were they really trying to copy the logo?

CHO: Well, you know, it depends on who you ask really. I mean, to be truthful, those ad campaigns don’t happen overnight, and some people say -- yeah sure, they are both red, white and blue, but Pepsi’s logo has always been red, white and blue. Other people point out, well, the Pepsi logo looks a little like the Korean Air logo, too --
The electronic media gets more stupid every single day.

I guess.

Can anyone tell me the last time Pepsi had asymmetrical color stripes? I have not found any examples in the history of the company...til now, which is evocative of Obama's logo.

I would seriously consider that as a slogan because of the phoniness of Obama. There is something about this that reeks and this guy hasn’t even been sworn in yet.

Sarah Palin 2012 “The Real Deal” Because Palin is the only person, who I believe, can challenge and beat Obama.

If Sarah Palin runs “as is” (ie as she is now) she will be lucky to get 40% against Obama. She needs to drop the Minnie Pearl schtick now if she wants to win anywhere outside of the usual states we carry.

I don’t think that she can throw away what makes her natural. Maybe she can go to an Ivy League school in these four years, adopt more Liberal positions, and placate the Media more and more. I am sorry but nobody can help the Media. When Gas Prices rise to 4 dollars a gallon because of the stupidity of the Democrats, and our economy tanks and we have a new crisis in the Middle East bungled by Obama, I am sure that a few will break the spell.

And even if she was a cosmopolitan socialite it wouldn’t matter. They would call her a whore, and anything else to make her sound like the devil. She doesn’t have a shtick because it is her and it can be very effective. Unlike Obama pretending to be somebody who is not.

Actually, if Pepsi weren't so enraptured by The One, they might have had a good case for plagiarism .

Frankly, if I were Pepsi, I’d take advantage of the herds of sheeple and tap into that same “optimism” vein. It’s the obvious tack to take in the current climate, and the success of 0bama’s campaign demonstrated that.

Then, with my millions, I’d fight against the Dems. :-)

Unfortunately, many of her advocates don't seem very good at math and electoral politics.

I'd love to see Sarah Palin win, but she can't just energize "the red states"...as you realize, she could double the number of votes in every red state and it won't do a bit of good, since we already have those states.

We need her to be able to impress others, and to be able to handle the rough-and-tumble national scene with her message coming across intact.
