The women of “The View” are seething over the show’s main guest Monday — conservative pundit Ann Coulter.
“Why are you such a b----?” is the question co-host Joy Behar wants to ask Coulter, she said at an event for the New York Times Arts & Leisure Weekend.
Co-host/comedian Whoopi Goldberg took a low blow at Coulter — literally.
“Are you blond on the top and on the bottom?” Goldberg sarcastically said of the question she’d pose to Coulter.
Coulter is on the ABC talk-show to promote her controversial new book “Guilty: Liberal ‘Victims’ and Their Assault on America,” whose second chapter focuses on how most of society’s major problems are the result of single motherhood.
Always the diplomat, “View” co-host and executive producer Barbara Walters said Coulter was invited on “The View” to represent a variety of opinions.
On the other end of the guest spectrum is Tom Cruise, who the five “View” co-hosts could not praise enough. Cruise was on the show last Friday to promote his new World War II-era film “Valkyrie,” took photos with and signed autographs for everyone in the audience who wanted one.

Because otherwise the people who watch this show would hear nothing about her but what the show's hosts had to say.
“Instead of asking something salient and thoughtful, the liberal wants to ask, “Why are you such a meanie? Why don’t you care if people like you?”
The vid I watched described Ann’s appearance on The View as an “ass-whooping.” I don’t understand why a conservative appears on a show like The View, other than to sell books, which I understand. As usual, the single conservative is forced to talk over the libs, doesn’t get heard, and the end result is seen as an “ass-whooping.” And when all else fails, Joyless Behar has to throw in a Sarah Palin dig for good measure....
And Ted Danson did WHAT with Whoopi Goldberg? I’ve never met a white guy that desperate! Or shameless.
Make Ms Coulter the issue — never, never discuss the substance of her writings. It’s all liberal “intellectuals” can do.

I would ask Whoopi....are you just as ugly on the bottom as you are on the top?

The sad part is that you have to actually watch the show to fully appreciate how ignorant and uninformed the three yentehs are. I assure you, it's not worth it.

Ann Coulter was on The View this morning to promote her new book, Guilty.The video posted to YouTube is almost 9 minutes long and was posted by a detractor of Coulter. The View panel discussed Ann's book before she came on the show.
