And the neighbor didn't move and change his name?

So, a guy’s just walking down the street, minding his own business when - WHAM! - he trips and falls into a vat of acid.

It could happen, it could happen...

The whole Gotti family should be dissolved in acid.

Do any chemists out there know if this is even possible? I mean can a “barrel” of acid (55 gal) really dissolve an entire human corpse?

And NY guidos cried for Gotti when a photo of him ill with cancer appeared in the NY Daily News. The wrote letters to the editor lambasting their “cruelty”. I guess dissolving someone is a vat of acid is okay in their books.

That is a hard-luck story if I ever heard one.

This was even sadder because the neighbor adored the kid, but everyone knew it was doom for him.

Did they kill the guy before they dumped him in the acid?

I recall reading somewhere that immediately after the accident, Carneglia tried to go to see the Gotti family to apologise, but was turned back again and again by the “bodyguards”. He said they told him that Gotti knew it was an accident, but was too broken up to talk with him (Carneglia) about it. In the meantime, Gotti himself was telling family that he couldn’t believe Carneglia didn’t even have the courtesy to come over to apologise.

Talk about harsh! That DIDN’T leave a mark, after the dissolution was complete at least.
