Despite being pressured by traditional family advocates to stop, Campbell's Soup Company, maker of Swanson's brand broth, has vowed to continue spending its advertising dollars in pro-homosexual publications.
As WND reported earlier, the American Family Association objected to a Swanson's broth magazine ad that depicts a lesbian couple and their son. The ad was placed in the December 2008 and January 2009 issues of The Advocate, a magazine that touts itself with the line, "For 40 years, setting the standard in LGBT journalism."
Campbell's Soup, however, has brushed off the AFA's complaint.
MediaDailyNews quoted a company spokesperson explaining, "Inclusion and diversity play an important role in our business, and that fact is reflected in our marketing plan."
According to a Campbell's representative, "Our plans for the Swanson brand include additional placements in The Advocate."

how stupid.....faggy men don’t stand around cooking Campbell’s in a can...
they make soup from scratch being creative buggerers they are
geez, next it will be Skoal commericals for queens
Except that their tomato soup is pretty good.
Unless someone can provide me with one close to that?
That would be nice. I’d rather make it myself from the tomatoes I grew myself. And a mushroom soup recipe.
That can get me to completely avoid their products.
Did you see this?
I'm sure that they'd rather be included in my budget, but not any more.
My kids are NOT going to like giving up their Goldfish.
You’ll never get them, ever. Many/most viral marketing firms are constricted by confidentiality agreements, and their clients certainly don’t talk about it. Some of them don’t even have a website.
I know one guy whose ad company has a viral division housed “off site.” I’ve known the guy for some time — a good guy — and he is dead silent when it comes to that division.
Maybe we could start a soup recipe thread.
Making killer gravy is easy as well.
Neither one even have the guts to make protecting marriage an issue on their shows or lead the charge on amendments like Prop 8. Maybe Bill O'Reilly would step up and make this an issue but don't rely on Rush or Sean.
Two to three percent of the population can only buy so much soup. The number opposed to the promotion of homosexual perversion greatly outnumbers the homosexuals buying the product.
Should someone start a soup thread? These are great suggestions. So much has been lost in cooking in the last couple generations because of convenience foods that it seems that we’ve forgotten what makes foods taste better.
BINGO!!!!
That's it for me.
What? You don't think that gays didn't eat Campbell's soup before?
They can't read a morally neutral ad and be persuaded to buy it?
Interesting. I guess the same thing would happen if someone confronted him about his efforts several years ago to put Arnold Schwarzenegger if office.
That Hannity wouldn't even mention Prop 8 in California during the election campaign reveals a lot. Either he is gutless or just doesn't care about such issues.
1 small onion, chopped
2 cups chicken broth
3 tablespoons butter, melted
3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 1/2 cups milk
1/2 cup heavy cream
1 pinch salt and pepper to taste
1 tablespoon softened butter
In a large saucepan, combine the mushrooms, onion and chicken broth. Bring to a boil, then simmer covered for 15 minutes over low heat. Stir together the melted butter and flour to make a paste. Stir the paste into the pan with the vegetables. Increase the heat to medium, and gradually stir in the milk. Continue stirring constantly. When the mixture thickens and begins to boil, stir in the cream.
Cook over low heat without boiling for about 10 minutes, or until the mushrooms are tender. Season with salt and pepper.
THANK YOU. I’ll give it a try.
E.g., "You can't prosecute me for doing that because if you do you will be persecuting me for being whatever."
1 lb. home canned or tin canned whole tomatoes
2 cups milk
2 Tbls butter or margarine
salt and pepper to taste
Place tomatoes in 1 qt pan. Put milk and butter in another pan, begin heating both but do not boil. When tomatoes are hot but not boiling stir in milk and stir again. Remove from heat. Season to taste. This can be doubled or tripled if desired. You can add basil or garlic or whatever seasoning you like. Fast & easy & tasted good if I remember correctly. I also think she used half & half sometimes for a creamier soup
As long as a popular perception that homosexuals are discriminated against can be maintained an examination of any objective evidence of it can be avoided.
Like the tourist who gets stopped for making an illegal turn at 15 mph over the posted limit against a red light and then jumps out of the car screaming at the cop that “YOU ONLY CAME AFTER ME BECAUSE I HAVE AN OUT OF STATE PLATE!”
To which the cop replies, “No, sir, I stopped you because you broke the law—three times in less than five seconds.”
All Recipes has some pretty good recipes, and they are rated by those who have tried them. The reviews contain changes that reviewers have made according to their own tastes, which is what I do with most recipes anyway.
