The plan being discussed would eliminate the independent homeland security adviser’s office and assign those duties to the National Security Council to streamline sometimes overlapping functions. A deputy national security adviser would be charged with overseeing the effort to guard against terrorism and to respond to natural disasters.
Mr. Bush's aides, including the national security adviser, Stephen J. Hadley, have privately urged Mr. Obama's advisers not to get rid of the separate homeland security office, warning that it would load too many responsibilities on the National Security Council and risk important matters' falling through the cracks.

Some. His economic team is much more centrist that it could have been. And to point out one more thing - the campaign is over and he won. It's okay to say nice things about him and to support him when he does the right thing now. I just hope it's more frequently than I think it'll be.
Wrong. If anything bad happens as a result of his actions, it will be portrayed in the news as something that just "happened", the way the Burris flap was portrayed as a "dispute", not mentioning race, or party affiliation, or anything.

Do you think we should support him when he is dismantling our ability to prevent terrorist attacks on the US?

Do you think we should support him in increasing the government’s role in all aspect’s of our lives?

If Obama succeeds, which is almost impossible based on what I have seen of socialism, America will die. I don't see any good options here.
Although these changes would be to the president's White House staff, not the cabinet departments and agencies, the very fact that Obama wants to assign terrorism matters to a DEPUTY adviser is highly telling.
Despite the first early gushing in many quarters about how "moderate" and "centrist" Obama's appointments have been, this DEMOTION of anti-terrorism responsibilities on his own staff indicates that his anti-American Marxist tendencies are alive and well.

I couldn’t agree with you more.
However, if you look at the posts, there are quite a few who are reluctant to criticize Obama, want to “give him a chance”, and DO criticize Bush, but NOT Obama, wanting for “Obama to succeed” and so on, being totally oblivious to the fact that by those actions they are being complicit in Obama’s mission to turn the US into a socialist, weak country.
