By the time they actually get around to doing that, they will have whittled the likes of true Patriots into such a minority that there won't be much you can actually do. Killing one or two in the process might give you a keen sense of satisfaction just before dying though.

Considering that the skill levels of hard core gun owners are LIGHT YEARS ahead of your typical thug agent (whatever flavor). What makes you think it would only be one or two?

I used to say it would be 20 years before gun rights vanished from America. Now I’m thinking 10 should do it. :(

No, it's about 8 days and a wakeup.

I knew that, but you still didn’t answer my question (the answer of which I know as well).

Oops! “peach officer” should be “peace officer”!

No need to apologize.

I would prefer "peach officers" to "law enforcement officers" any day

There are no more "peace officers".

So, what happens if one is found 'not guilty'?

Never happens, but the vehicle is gone nonetheless.

Well they can't tell if that handgun on your waist is going to used only for self defense, or to rob someone, so I guess banning you from wearing it is OK?

Yeah, there are definitely some serious problems with the letter of many fish & game laws.

I appreciate the apology. I’m just glad we could agree on this one in the end.

You take care.

The important part is that officers do not have the authority to disarm you simply because you are carrying a weapon.

Case in point the Berkley riot about the BART shooting, it sent a message but the players came from a bad source.

BART = Bankrupt Authoritarian Rail Transport

When a gang banger gets shot on the BART train, nobody panics because it is all part of the plan. When John Travolta loses his son from natural causes and goes on Oprah to tell the story, why, everyone loses their minds!

“Although I loathe poachers, I loathe any form of pre-conviction asset forfeiture even more.”

Pre-conviction asset forfeiture is nothing but poaching with government guns.

“These fringe cases never have clean records,....”

“There’s no way to rule innocent men. The only power any government has is the power to crack down on criminals. Well, when there aren’t enough criminals, one makes them. One declares so many things to be a crime that it becomes impossible for men to live without breaking laws. Who wants a nation of law-abiding citizens? What’s there in that for anyone? But just pass the kind of laws that can neither be observed nor enforced nor objectively interpreted and you create a nation of law-breakers.”

These fringe cases never have clean records, are never fully mainstream people, and are those that are easy to ignore.

Remember Carl Drega?

No but I read on Wiki.

Not sure this guy qualifies as even fringe...and certainly what I read didn’t put him into the 2A advocate camp.

Seems he was a bit too tightly wound and then went looking for trouble on his own.

But that is the impression I got from one source online, not saying it is accurate.

My point was simply that he's a very fringe case ... more of a property rights "advocate" than 2A ... very out of the mainstream.

He may have been wound too tight, but he was pushed beyond reason. Trouble had been looking for him long before he started looking for trouble.

The press and the democRAT party (but I repeat myself) will have no trouble at all rewriting even the most reasonable 2A advocate to be just like Carl ...

“Does anyone know if police officers take an oath to protect and defend the Constitution as the military do?”

Answer: Yes, not only police officers but ANY official who works in either an administrative, executive, or judicial (I believe that covers ‘em all doesn’t it?) capacity not only must swear an oath verbally but must sign AND record with the recorder of record in their jurisdiction, ie. Sec of State, County Recorder, etc. that same oath.

Don’t take my word for this or anything you are told by anyone without researching it for yourself so that you can be positive of the real law or reg of your own knowledge.

“You only have those rights you yourself are willing to enforce”

Agree .....disperse yer asset’s ,stay low profile, stay PC in appearance’s and mannerisms, never fight on your enemies ground or against superior forces. Fight smart. Too easy to go toe to toe and die. Don’t get mad get even ......:o)

But above all do SOMETHING every day to fight, anger and disrupt the Socialist Democrats and Presstitutes no matter how small or large the effort ! Even if it’s just the little toadie that opens the snail mail and e-mail or answers the phone. Let em know how displeased and angry you are at their efforts and how your cash is NOT going to their party but to conservatives etc ....

And do this at every level of goobermint elected official, be it from from dog catcher to this new precedent of the socialist states of amerkia he wants to create.

Stay on em , fight a smart fight. Fighting stupid is easy and what your enemy always hopes for.

Just my opinion of course.
