...and one of the funniest aside comments I’ve EVER heard from the media!! It’s all a joke, and Shep called him on it.
No one ever said Shep should win journalist of the year award—he’s a commentator, not a straight news journalist, and never has been. People, remember this is about Blago’s ridiculousness, not Shep!!

My sentiments exactly. I figure he got caught on tape, barry scrubbed his past and the internet but he can’t have gotten everything. His days are numbered.
It's this most recent move by Reid/Durbin that has me puzzled. We know Barry was against the Burris appointment at first. Then early this week he came down on Burris' side when Reid's plan began to fall apart. Now, after SCOI rules that Jessie White's signature isn't required, and nothing further needs to be done in support of Blago's appointment, Durbin comes out saying they won't seat Burris without White's signature. Obama has to be involved in this, but why bring this to a head again when it was almost rectified. It's just reopening a stupid decision for renewed criticism.

Also note the Ted Kennedy reference. I suggest that’s not happenstance given the Kennedy play with the Chicago machine/mob, and RFK’s son, Chris as a senate seat appointment hopeful. Who got JFK elected, anyway?
personally, I think it would be a shame if the MSM buries the guy before he gets a chance to explain himself. Thats not what this country is about.

They’ve been sending messages back and forth through the press since the arrest. Blago’s messages are in the Sun-Times, Obama’s in the Tribune.
Oh, I’m aware of that. What we’re talking about are these mentions of Rahm Emmanuel and Ted Kennedy in today’s presser.
