Prosecutors say a married South Shore teacher was so “obsessed” with a teen boy she had sex with him on the kitchen floor, in the living room and in the bedroom of his home in Abington, and it all began when he was 13 years old.
Christine A. McCallum, 29, of Rockland faced three charges of statutory rape in court today. Prosecutors say she had sex with the now 16-year-old boy when he was 13, 14 and 15.
The elementary school teacher was held on $10,000 bond, $1,000 cash, after her appearance at Brockton District Court. She now faces another arraignment on more related charges in Hingham District Court at 2 p.m. today.

I love how they get all conservative looking for their court appearances. Tidy hair, modest dress, glasses, pity "pout." Trying to look like "I could NEVER do something so abhorrent as this!" How outrageous of you to een THINK that about ME!!

Me too. And now, you can’t even consider all parents as safe adults, let alone all teachers.
It’s the possessed movie version of Jan Brady.
It depends on the college. Some colleges prohibit it, others don’t.
There was a case a few years ago at Boston University. A professor in the school of communications was dating a lot of his students and it wasn’t prohibited. It only got nasty when some of the girls found out they weren’t his ‘one and only’ and complained to the dean.
I guess it could be worse. ;)
