Ann Coulter: Palin Could Be Next Reagan

Martella noted that Coulter mentions Sarah Palin a number of times in her new book, and asked if the media which Coulter says has gone after Palin with blinding ferocity would continue their attacks if she decides to run for the White House.
Absolutely, Coulter said. Theyre not going to give up on the attacks. They see that Republicans have gold in Sarah Palin.
If I were Sarah Palins adviser I would strongly advise her to not run in 2012. Shes very young.
Instead, Palin should spend the next 8 or 12 years reading the Federalist Papers and other important political works, Coulter said.
Raise your children so none of them turn out like Ron Reagan Junior, and be a good governor, and then I think she could be another Ronald Reagan
She has everything you cant get from books, you cant get from experience. She has heart and soul and absolute integrity, and charisma, and holds the crowd rapt.
Now she needs the wisdom and the experience, and I think she could be another Ronald Reagan.

There is/was only ONE Ronald Reagan.
Amen. She could do a pretty good job of being Sarah Palin, however.
You’re right, but we’ll start turning things around if Republicans start aspiring to be “the next Reagan[s]”!
Yep.
Its a trap Republicans routinely set up for themselves, fall into, and then ask ‘what just happened?’
President's are executives, not legislators.
She needs (and has and is getting more) executive experience.
I can't wait to vote for her.
I'd like to see the first (and only) Sarah Palin as CIC in '12.
I think she was trying to keep people from seeing and buying the book.
“Instead, Palin should spend the next 8 or 12 years reading the Federalist Papers and other important political works, Coulter said”
Agreed-—instead of becoming the next Ronald Reagan she should concentrate on being the first Sarah Palin....when the time comes, she’ll have my vote
The Republican party is as sold out as the Democrats. I have no faith in their desire or ability to run a Constitutional free country.
GO SARAHCUDA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Simple. The pubbies you mention tried to emulate RWR but wound up falling for the ‘vote for us because we suck less’ mentality instead of adequately COMMUNICATING conservative values to a right-of-center country. Sarah gets it and I believe Bobby Jindal does too. The MSM knows Sarah gets it, which is why they’re going to slime her for the next four years.
When I bought Rush’s first book, the three teenagers, including a flaming homo, behind the counter, had a nice conversation about the people who buy the book in front of me. I bought it anyway and never returned.
The Media is using Republican Elites to bash Palin.
I am amazed at the bigotry. These people preferred Obama over Palin because of his educational pedigree.
I’d take a principled conservative with a 100 I.Q. and some COMMON SENSE over any elitist snob who’s never had a real job.
Ann, in an ideal world I would agree with you. But two factors have to be taken into consideration; America cannot afford two terms of Obama and secondly Sarah may not remain as popular as she is now. She has to strike while the iron is hot; at least if she tries and doesn’t succeed she can say that “I gave it a shot.” If she sits backs and ages 8-12 years she may look back and say “What happened to all the support I was promised back in 2008?” Sure Sarah in an ideal world it would be better for you to wait till you were past 60, but let’s face it folks: we do not live in an ideal world.
she should concentrate on being the first Sarah Palin
Yes, and some day they will be looking for another Palin like they do with Regan.
I agree with that but some of us are under the impression that the Republican party can be revived by people like Sarah.
Not to say she is “the one” but to have faith that conservatism still lives in the GOP.
I’m just saying that we could either grovel, or hope, and I’m on the side of hope...NOT change. We need to bring back what we already had.
Palin is not the second Reagan, she is the heir of Reagan. There was only one Reagan and there will be only one Palin. She doesn’t need to be someone else. I love her just the way she is.
