Hawaii progressives dump Obama: “How soon can he be impeached?”
Hawai`i Free Press ^ | January 8, 2009 | Andrew Walden

Posted on 01/08/2009 3:13:19 PM PST by AndrewWalden

Big 2004 Kucinich supporters who switched to Obama in 2008, some Hawai`i Progressive Democrats are already calling for Barack Obama’s impeachment. The call is in response to hints that Obama would cut Social Security and Medicare spending—both of which are critical to the funding of the Hawai`i ‘progressive’ lifestyle....

Remember: Hawai`i Progressive Democrats aren’t just “progressive” -- they are also “enlightened” and “conscious”. So they naturally get "tired of him talking too slow." It also means that when they say Obama is “Bush with some color” there is nothing racist about it.

Really.

Oh how soon the tides turn when you hitch your wagon to a group of human waste never ever meant to pull a load or pull their “fair share”.

The left are going to be disappointed with Obama. He may end up accomplishing a feat only successfully pulled off by one other President and that is manage to alienate everyone but loyalists. Anyone want to guess who that President was?

If handouts do not exceed revenues, then you are a fascist...according to the “progressives” that see work and thrift as a nuisance.

I go to Hawaii often - Oahu, mostly - and in fact was there when the lights went out.

I did NOT see Obomber signs everywhere and gushing over his being there...but then again, I guess I would not tend to be with those who would be in thrall with this blow hard.

I do know that the Islands are very special and that the strength of family and belief in traditional values is much greater than a lot of people think. It is impossible to describe, but I think they know BS when they hear it in a way that some cultures do not - and the reaction to Obomber’s Clintonesqe crock of shite and empty suit rhetoric will wear thin for the left and the right - of which there are more than you might think.

Two words...Leon Panetta...good grief. The man is as qualified as I am for the job and I think everyone is getting a little scared...

“some Hawai`i Progressive Democrats are already calling for Barack Obama’s impeachment.”

I love how this is happening and he isn’t even in office.

Too many Hawaiian girls are bean counters ~ they evaluate a guy by his degrees and potential degrees ~ even other women's husbands. It's oh so East Asian upper middle class there ~ no wonder Obama left the place.

Odds are good he loses their attention within the first 6 months.

I’m with the American Thinker article http://www.americanthinker.com/blog/2009/01/obama_gutting_security.html that holds, in view of his Homeland Security (Janet Napolitano), CIA (Leon Pannetta) and various Justice Dept. appointments, that Obama intends to party like it’s 1976.

Don’t say Obama can’t learn. Veteran hack Panetta is there to put the smackdown on any members of the CIA old-boy network who think they can wage war against him like they did against GWB.

Protecting the country comes a distant second, if at all.

Oh, they see it as necessary, alright.

Let's hope so.

But outside Washington DC, Obama did get his highest percentage of the vote (71.85%) and highest margin of victory (45.26%) in Hawaii.

Hawaii is solidly Democratic, but it never went as overwhelmingly Democrat as it did this time -- not since 1964 anyway -- outdoing even RI, MA, NY, and VT.

It may be a cultural thing. Hawaiians may not get as excited about the same things in the same way as mainlanders. Asian reserve, maybe?
