PARIS — The International Committee of the Red Cross said Thursday it had discovered “shocking” scenes — including small children next to their mothers’ corpses — when its representatives gained access for the first time to parts of Gaza battered by Israeli shelling. It accused Israel of failing to meet obligations to care for the wounded in areas of combat.
In response, the Israeli military did not comment directly on the allegation. In a statement, it accused Hamas, its foe in Gaza, of deliberately using “Palestinian civilians as human shields” and said the Israeli Army “works in close cooperation with international aid organizations during the fighting so that civilians can be provided with assistance.”
The Israeli military “in no way intentionally targets civilians and has demonstrated its willingness to abort operations to save civilian lives and to risk injury in order to assist innocent civilians,” the statement said, promising that “any serious allegation” would “need to be investigated properly, once such a complaint is received formally, within the constraints of the current military operation.”
In an unusually blunt criticism, the Geneva-based International Committee of the Red Cross said it had been seeking access to shell-damaged areas in Zeitoun in the east of Gaza City since Saturday but the Israeli authorities granted permission only on Wednesday — the first day that Israel allowed a three-hour lull in the attacks on Gaza on humanitarian grounds.

This is the International Red Cross and they have long been a leftist organ. Unfortunately, the American Red Cross is not likely far behind.
Did it blast Hamas for using Gaza civilians as human shields, hoping to drive up the casualty count for propaganda purposes? Didn’t think so.

I stopped donating to the Red Cross when I learned what they were doing with the 9/11 charity money.

Funny how this "international Muslim committee of the red cross" is always completely silent when we see Islam sponsored genocide- raped, mutilated women with their breasts cut off, with their dead, raped babies beside them, or their kids heads stuck on poles outside their homes- in other countries around the world.
They already were. The Israeli Red Star-of-David is not affiliated with the International Red Cross because the Arab Red Crescent organizations refuse to work with them. I haven't given a dime to the cowards in years. I wish I had the gallon+ of blood I gave them back.
So what does the Red Cross suggest Israel do when another country is bombing them? Sit and talk with them? War is hell and bad things happen. Those that start the war need to realize this. I would guess that Hamas doesn’t care.

The ICRC has about as much friendliness toward Israel as your average Third World UN “diplomat.” The ICRC refuses to work with the Israeli version of the “Red Cross” (Mogen David Adom) because the Red Crescent societies of various Muslim countries won’t allow it. The ICRC is just another bunch of Geneva douchewaffles that would raise glasses of champagne if they saw pictures of Hamas bulldozers piling Israeli civilian corpses onto bonfires.

I would guess (and be close to 100% right) that if there are "dead mothers with dead babies" lying next to them, that they were killed and arranged in that position by Hamas for the "international red cross" and Robert fisk type media to find.
Hamas and Jew hating Robert Fisk types will go to great lengths to produce ugly images in an attempt to make Israel look like the bad guy.

Predictable results when the illegitimate combatants DISREGARD THE RULES OF WAR:
1. Not wearing officially recognized uniforms
2. Hiding among civilian population
3. Using hospitals, schools and religious facilities as staging areas.
The Red Cross is no more legitimate a plaintiff for “Geneva Convention violations” on behalf of the Palestinian people than Hamas is a signer or practitioner of the convention.
This is more of the tired rope-a-dope scatology from the U.N. tools of global socialism. Strange, the Red Cross makes no complaint of Hamas. Birds of a feather… hate Jews together. The Red Cross is just another useless organization, hopelessly infested with lefty limp-wrist demagogues, and their propaganda.
I put give as much veracity to pronouncements by the International Red Cross as I would attach to those made by Al Qaeda.
