Anne Hathaway, who is currently promoting two movies, a serious-ish family melodrama Rachel Getting Married, for which she is being tipped for an Oscar nomination, and a knockabout comedy called Bride Wars, has expressed some uncertainty about Barack Obama. Her gripe is over the President-elect's decision to allow Pastor Rick Warren, a fundamentalist Christian described by some as a "hate preacher", to deliver one of the invocation speeches at his inauguration on January 20. "I expect him to explain that choice of Rick Warren," says the 26-year-old, Vassar-educated actress (pictured). "I don't get it. All my friends and I were trying to figure it out, but we just can't"…………
Ann Hathaway blindly dated a thief much longer than she should have.

Ok, I get it. Wright’s fine, but Warren isn’t. How about another famous Obama backflip where he throws Warren under the bus while dragging Wright OUT from under the bus?

warren’s is about as far on the other end of the scale from obamas beliefs as you can get. why on earth did obama pick him over sharpton, jackson or wright?
unless the whole thing is meant to be a distraction from other matters.. like his lack of a birth certificate, or his horrible choices for his cabinet.

Me too. I actually got excited and thought for once a Hollyweirdo came out with a sensible statement. I was really surprised to see that she was referring to Warren and not Wright.
Oh, at first I thought this was going to be about “rev Wright.” Silly me.
I always thought that she was hot, until I began hearing how she thinks.
