Senators up for re-election 2010:
McCain (AZ) (R)
Voinovich (OH) (R)
Gregg (NH) (R)
Specter (PA) (R)
Burr (NC) (R)
Mel Martinez (FL) (R) (retiring - open seat)
Sam Brownback (KS) (R) (retiring - open seat)
Kit Bond (MO) (R) (retiring - open seat)
Bayh (IN) (D)
Lincoln (AR) (D)
Dorgan (ND) (D)
Salazar (CO) (D)
Reid (NV) (D)
Wow, that is depressing. I don’t see a safe seat except for McCain’s and I don’t see an at-risk seat for the Dummies except for (perhaps) Reid.
Special elections for Hillary’s seat, Biden’s seat and Obama’s seat (now Burris’) also come around in 2010.
Any chance for pickup by unseating Dingy Harry in NV and Dorgan in ND?
There should be more than 13 Senators up for re-election in 2010. Usually it is 33 Senators who are up for re-election every 2 years.
Burr is in big trouble, for he supported open borders. That football player from Asheville should win easily.
Isn’t there more than that? I thought roughly a third of the seats are up every 2 years.
You forgot Ted Kaufman
When conservatives run as true conservatives with a conservative message, we win. All of the Republican losses from the last four years can be pinned directly on neocons or RINOs with a good smattering of globalists to coordinate each crisis for maximum damage to cause maximum advancement for the globalist agenda. Read todays front page on World Net Daily where Kissinger is quoted as saying Obama can use the latest series of crises to finally create the NWO.
Who are the other 20? That is a dismal list, All except McCain are highly vulnerable as of today. Hopefully, ‘10 will be a good GOP year, generally.
