You can’t win what you didn’t get before...I’ve already got mine, plenty in fact. Come and get them.

I like the way Ann Coulter put it:
After the Republicans nominated McCain it was like watching a slow moving train wreck.

It would be political suicide to the dems newly found White House and expanded congressional majorities to push gun controls of any kind.
I’m afraid those gun grabbers are going to be very disappointed 4 years from now. Gun control is a DEAD END issue. It can ONLY lose votes for those that try it.
I believe the liberals have learned their lesson on gun control, unless they are just totally stupid politically.

Interesting you should say that. I have always paid my taxes and didn’t cheat even when I had my own business. That has all changed now. I won’t support the government now. They’ll get precious little from me now.

They forget who is already armed and pretty well practiced with arms. If they want to try to take them away, they have a tactical problem.

The NRA supported many Democrats that claimed they were staunch 2nd Amendment supporters but are really tow the line gun grabbing Democrats. The NRA in many of those elections tried to straddle the fence to show non partisanship, which used to be a smart move. Its pretty obvious now that the Democrats are almost exclusively gun grabber supporters.

What these gun grabbers don’t understand is some anti-gun Republicans lost the election to Dems that, believe it or not, actually support the 2nd Amendment. Not all Dems are gun grabbers and not all Republicans are 2nd Amendment supporters.
The Dem Congressman from here in the mountains of NC knows better than to support gun control legislation. These rednecks he represents would put an early end to his career in the next election.
They know better than to ‘come get our guns’. Instead they will try to control them by passage of the Ammunition Accountabilty Act which we must fight tooth and nail.

” the Republicans nominated McCain it was like watching a slow moving train wreck.”
Absolutely perfect description. It was horrifying. A vote for him though, was better than the horror of bHo.
He was like seeing the X-Ray of a fast growing, initially benign Cancer.
That one will get you, but you don't know when or how horribly.

Yeah, but also a year ago I would have thought electing a socialistic community organizer with an uncertain citizenship at birth to the the President of the United States was unlikely too.
