The nation's top selling conservative author has been banned from appearing on NBC, insiders tell the DRUDGE REPORT.
Banned for life!
"We are just not going to have her on any more, it's over," a top network source explains.
NBC's TODAY show abruptly cut Ann Coulter from its planned Tuesday broadcast, claiming the schedule was overbooked.
Coulter was set to unveil her new book, GUILTY.
But one network insider claims it was the book's theme -- a brutal examination of liberal bias in the new era -- that got executives to dis-invite the controversialist.
"We are just not interested in anyone so highly critical of President-elect Obama, right now," a TODAY insider reveals. "It's such a downer. It's just not the time, and it's not what our audience wants, either."
For the book, Coulter reportedly received the most-lucrative advance ever paid to a conservative author.
The TODAY show eagerly invited the author months ago, for her first network interview on GUILTY.
The exclusive was to air during the show's 7 AM hour. The cut came Monday afternoon.
Executives at NBC TODAY replaced Coulter with showbiz reporter Perez Hilton, who recently offer $1,000 to anyone who would throw a pie at Ann Coulter. Hilton is also launching a new book this week, RED CARPET SUICIDE.

Well, in looking at the book’s Index, NBC (and MSNBC, Olberman, Matthews, Maddow etc....) certainly get a good amount of attention from Annie.
The only media outlet who has more is our all time favorite: The New York Slimes.

It never ceases to amaze how these individuals of a liberal anti-conservative persuasion assert that the swiftboat ads pointing out the truth about Kerry were false without demonstrating a single specific instance of that being so.
She probably hasn’t mentioned the “banned for life” part of this story because as she always does she has to verify the report to ten decimal places. The left would like nothing better than to trap her into spouting a rumor as fact, something she goes out of her way to avoid when they can shovel any manure they want and it’s taken as gospel.

Notice that the network wants NO criticism of Obamination.....and punishment is being enforced.
I have visions of that famous pre-WW2 era photograph of the bonfire with the Nazis and their enablers dancing silhouetted in the dark around a huge bonfire and tossing verboten books into the flames.

This is NBC not wishing to disturb The One.
I expect lots of restrictions on conservative speech and any dissent coming up, like things were pre-Reagan and pre-Web, with only Approved Communications. Look up what Johnson did to Tommy Smothers et al, as well as other people.
NBC sure shows its fanatical left-wing side. Outrageous censorship.
I don’t see what the first post has to do with “chemobrain” but it was entertaining to see some of the raving DUers falling all over themselves to “welcome” EE to the DUmpster.
How can you argue in the forum of ideas when one side is shut out? So much for NBC honoring Freedom of Speech and Freedom of the Press. NBC is Obama’s personal network.
