May I posit that the withdrawal of Governor Bill Richardsons name as the nominee to serve as commerce secretary in the incoming Obama administration qualifies as an epic fail? Anytime a presidential transition is disrupted by the need to withdraw the name of a nominee for a high-profiled cabinet post, the transition process suffers. Given the nature of the withdrawal and the reasons behind it, the Obama transition has suffered an especially tough blow. Of course, Richardson is not the only symbol of an epic fail around here; the bulk of Barack Obamas economic program is swiftly moving into epic fail territory as well....

There are no “Epic Fails” for BO. Zero, zip, nada. Every now and then the “annointed one” gets a toe damp while walking on water...but that’s it!

obama, there are plenty of qualified people in the Bush administration who will not fail the “suspicion” test.

To: AJKauf
A similar epic fail for President Bush was Bernard Kerik which we still hear about everyday. At least Kerik didn't try a run for PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES like Richardson!
MSM: "Richardson who?"

Or it's Chicago Politics™ at its finest. Would the O-child want a popular and movin'-on-up person like Richardson in his cabinet, claiming credit for the jobs "recovery"? Looks like Obama took him all the way out, one step shy of Ft. Marcy Park. Is this a Fredo moment? It's the inauguration, Tom Hagen, and time to take care of all the family business. Be afraid, be very afraid.

That can't be true...the MSM told us that the people one associates with does not mean anything, like Rev. Wright, Tony REzco, bill ayers, etc... /sarc

This is not an epic fall. It is just another reality backing up my tagline.
Get used to them. Just think about what we have learned since the Zer0 was elected.
More such realities will be coming on a regular basis.

After Carville’s remark about the impending scandals I'm inclined to believe this is at the instigation of the Clintons. Hillary!s revenge for Richardson's support of 0bama.

Rush mentioned the politicians in other states with ties to the group Richardson is likely to be indicted over. All Democrats. The corruption scandal may get legs and touch even more Obama appointees.
