US President Elect Barack Obama walks down the steps of an Air Force 757 at Andrews Air Force Base, Maryland, upon arrival from Chicago. Obama arrived in the US capital where he was set to meet his wife and daughters and prepare his transition to the presidency later this month.

I think it’s the Seal of the *President Elect*.

Most people as well travelled as he apparently is would know better than to try to go down any set of steps attached to a movable object with their hands in their pocket.
Also, anyone with any military bearing, such as a commander in chief, should kow you do not loaf around with your hands in your pocket.

So O already gets to use the real Presidential Seal. niceThe aircraft is one of many in the presidential fleet. I am fairly certain the seal is permanent on all of them and not something special for O.
