Yep, someone does need to talk to the Bishop if this parish was supporting homosexual marriage...
While I do find the vandalism slightly humorous given the congregation’s views, I hope the bishop sets them straight. No pun intended.
I find it really hard to support people who act like thugs, and it’s a bit sad that I’m probably right in thinking the parish will probably blame the Vatican before they say “Maybe they were wrong to vandalize our church.”
Remember: it’s not “hate” when minorities do it. :)
They should remember that if every Catholic had voted Republican, it would be John McCain who would be our next president.
The Gaystapo strikes again.
These people realy hurt their cause.

They really should stop with the swastikas, considering the history of Nazism, both in its origin and execution. "The Pink Swastika" is online, details the interesting and unsavory connection between Nazism and homosexuality.
Hey Rob, what are you going to say when your son's fudge is being packed instead of getting that grand kid you always wanted. If you think that these miscreants are not targeting children to join their merry freak parade, think again. Think "fisting" lessons to high school kids in Massachusetts.
This use of "gay friendly" implies standard churches are unfriendly to sinners. This sloppiness may be unitentional, but it is slanderous. The well known cliche its true: Christ teaches his followers to hate the sin but love the sinner. And most Christians I know (and I know quite a few) are not unfriendly to gay people--unless you insist (as I suppose the author of the article does) that merely maintaing the view that sex outside of the marriage of a man and a woman as sinful is being unfriendly to gays in particular (and somehow not being unfriendly to the rest of us who contend with sinful hetrosexual desires outside of marriage).
If I attended a church which preached against something I felt strongly about, I would simply leave for one more in line with my views (knowing that agitation of any kind would merely intensify the animosity).
It is a very simple concept. You can never force anyone to believe as you do.
Holy Redeemer is a liberal Protestant church run by the Catholic Archdiocese of San Francisco. The pastor has been captured on video sprinkling Holy Water on a departing bus—the parish’s float in the Gay Pride Parade—which can be seen on video flanked by naked and men and women in the parade.
Holy Redeemer is the church where the Archbishop gave Communion to two members of the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, and pretended afterward that they took him by surprise. Any priest knows that no priest celebrating Mass could have missed the two Sisters, who were not far from the front pew. The bishop’s claim not to have seen them is preposterous. In any case, the bishop was and is well aware that Holy Redeemer’s congregation consists almost entirely of dissenters from Catholic teaching, and largely of outspokenly sexually active gay men.
Niederauer’s appointment to San Francisco means that Rome has granted the schismatic American Catholic denomination another decade or so to masquerade as part of the Roman Catholic Church.
All those new Hate Crime laws going to waste. Seems a shame. But I guess they were meant only for the target of this attack.
Gays never hate, they are, well, gay.
Awww, the poor vandals are "upset". Then the parishioner explains his church is on their side. It's all a big misunderstanding. I guess the vandalism would be completely acceptable if a real Catholic church had been targeted.
