My barber (a female) told me a couple days ago that her friend who works for FedEx said that they are 'swamped' with ammo deliveries.
I didn't say anything but FedEx seems to be an expensive way to ship lead.

We were at a gun show last weekend and it was packed. The vendors that we talked to said that the show in October was just as packed. For the first time since we have been going to gun shows, almost every person was making a purchase.

I was chatting with the owner of a company that makes AR-15s (name would be well-known to those who shop in that field).
He said that he booked as many orders in the TWO days around the election as he did the prior YEAR!

If anyone is near Louisville, KY I want to recommend my friend’s range and store, Bluegrass Indoor Range http://www.bluegrassrange.com/index1.php

I figger we have about a 60-day window before they pull some midnight maneuver to legislate the first batch of firearms out of reach. Once we lose an ally on the SCOTUS to retirement/death/insert-a-cause-here, they'll try to go after the rest.
Time to buy one of the rifles I've been looking at. And stock up on spare ammo for the Colt.

FedEx Ground is quite economical.

Does anyone actually believe that the Democrats in Congress care about what the people want?

For example, the Illinois State Police conducted 39 percent more background checks for gun purchases in November than the agency conducted during that month in both 2006 and 2007, according to the Chicago Sun-Times. Those background checks led to purchases since gun sales for November were 38 percent higher than last year, the Sun-Times noted....Here is the media surprised that the increase in background checks corresponds to the increase in actual sales because, in their mind, only criminals buy guns.

I'm sure we can count on our Republican Senators to protest loud and long in their fight to protect our gun rights.....

It depends on volume. Some high volume ammo distributors get really good rates from FedEx.

Those who made sure they were prepared ahead of time do not need to participate in this lunacy, especially at the current prices.

"FedEx Ground is quite economical." Oh! Okay then. When I think of FedEx, I always think of air.

I made a lifetime buy of ammo during the Rodney King riots. Still have 95% of it.

My dad ordered .30 carbine from one site and the delivery charge for four boxes was $38 - almost the price of one box. He then checked on shipping just one box of .32ACP and the charge was $28 - buy from WalMart ... it’s less expensive ...

I know of several local individuals that are well over the 500K round mark on ammo. Wish I could keep up, but I just don’t have the room to keep it.

Whats worse, the gun- control lobby is just waiting for January 20 so that they can push restrictions, if not outright bans, on firearms. Not a doubt in my mind that this is true. Along with eliminating the secret ballot for union elections.
